The D-Series PRO Specter Driving Flush Mount Pair is a Rigid LED light built to sit flush in a panel, so it adds light without a pod standing proud of the surface. Flush mounting suits bumpers, tailgates and trailers where a protruding light would be in the way. This is Rigid part 512313.

Coverage is limited to 5 years for commercial, marine and industrial use, and powder coating and lenses carry 1 year. Seal tampering, improper installation, damage from ammonia-based cleaners and road-salt erosion are not covered. Shipping. Ships in the manufacturer's carton by parcel carrier; long light bars ship in oversize cartons. Inspect on delivery. When the carton arrives, open it and check the lights, brackets and hardware against the box list before you start, and report any shipping damage right away with photos.

Does a flush mount need a cutout?

Yes. A flush-mount light sits in an opening in the panel. The Rigid install sheet gives the cutout and mounting details for this light.

Can I drive with this light on the road?

Rigid does not list this light as SAE or DOT compliant, and Rigid's warranty terms state that some Rigid lights are built and sold strictly for off-road driving. Treat it as an off-road light and follow your state's rules for auxiliary lighting.

What is the small black patch on the back of a Rigid light?

Rigid's FAQ explains that the patch on the back of its lights is a GORE pressure equalizing vent that keeps moisture out. Leave it in place and keep paint off it.

How should I clean the lens?

Rigid recommends mild soap and water or mineral spirits. Ammonia-based cleaners, household glass cleaners and liquid detergents can fade or crack the polycarbonate lens, and Rigid advises skipping automatic car washes for that reason.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Start with the store you bought from, keeping your proof of purchase. Rigid may ask for photos or video, and if the product is found defective it will replace it, refund it or issue store credit.
