TeraFlex Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler

The Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit is part of the TeraFlex system for carrying bigger spares and trail gear on the back of the vehicle. It uses factory mounting points so the rear of the vehicle stays clean and solid. Part number 4838900 and 4838920 fits the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler.

Not Included:

Spare tires, wheels, Hi-Lift jacks and other accessories shown with these parts are not included unless the listing names them.

Also required, sold separately: on 4xe plug-in hybrid models of the 4-door JL, the TeraFlex Alpha Speaker Bracket Kit (#4838290), so the rear pedestrian warning speaker stays in place.

Covers the Alpha HD hinged carrier: interior trim comes off, the tailgate is taped and marked for alignment, the factory hinges are removed and the forged reinforcement installs on the hinge points with gaskets, then the tailgate is adjusted to match the body lines. For spares 35" and larger, the adjustable spare tire mount goes on and the tailgate is re-aligned to account for the tire's weight.

Covers the Alpha HD adjustable spare tire mount: the factory carrier comes off, the main plate bolts on with the stock hardware, and the wheel mount is set for your wheel's offset. The stud hole used depends on tire size and bumper type, and an 8-lug conversion plate is covered for 8x6.5" wheels. TeraFlex rates the mount for up to a 39" tire with the tailgate reinforcement, or 100 lbs on a factory tailgate.

Warranty. TeraFlex backs its products with a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser, on the vehicle the part was first installed on. The Alpha tire carrier and its components carry a lifetime warranty; other items in this collection fall under the same limited warranty. If a covered part fails, TeraFlex will repair or replace it or refund the purchase price at its discretion. The warranty does not cover improper installation, missed maintenance, modifications, normal wear, finish wear or racing and competition use, and paint and powder coat finishes are covered for 90 days against defects only. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the cartons when the order is placed; larger kits and axles ship by freight. Inspect on delivery. Inspect the carton and every part as soon as the delivery arrives, note any shipping damage with the carrier, and contact us right away so we can make it right.
