Long arm travel for trails

Alpine long arms let the axles travel and twist farther with less bind, so a lifted Jeep keeps its tires on the ground over rocks and ruts while riding more smoothly.

Adjustable arms, clean brackets

Fully adjustable Alpine arms dial in caster and pinion angle, and streamlined TeraFlex brackets carry both upper and lower mounts in one strong piece.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Why choose long arms over short arms?

Long arms change angle less as the axle moves, so the ride is smoother and the suspension articulates more freely, especially at taller lift heights.

Do the arms include brackets?

Only when the title says so. Individual long arms and arm kits must be used with the TeraFlex long arm bracket kit, which is sold separately.

Is cutting required?

Yes. Installing long arm brackets removes the factory control arm brackets from the frame with a cutoff wheel or torch, and the job also involves grinding, painting and drilling.

Does it fit hybrid and diesel models?

Not always. Several long arm and bracket kits do not fit the 4xe plug-in hybrid, and the fit notes on each listing name any engine or hybrid exclusion. The CT and RT systems ship without shocks.

What is the difference between IR and standard Alpine arms?

Both are adjustable. IR arms use TeraFlex Independent Rotation bushings that rotate freely to reduce bind and can be torqued with the Jeep in the air.

What warranty applies?

TeraFlex covers control arms, IR bushings, springs, bump stops and track bars for life. Alpine bushings other than IR are covered for 1 year.
