Armor for your axle gears
The differential cover is often the lowest point on the axle and the first thing to meet a rock. A cast ductile iron TeraFlex cover shields the gears that a dented stamped cover would leave exposed.

Fits the same truck
The differential cover is often the lowest point on the axle and the first thing to meet a rock. A cast ductile iron TeraFlex cover shields the gears that a dented stamped cover would leave exposed.
Thick ductile iron resists impacts and adds stiffness to the housing opening, while the raised red TeraFlex logo gives the axle a finished look.
With the gears protected, you can pick harder lines through rock gardens and ledges without worrying about a leaking axle miles from the trailhead.
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Each cover is made for one axle model, such as a Dana 30 or Dana 44, including the AdvanTEK versions. The title names the axle it fits, so match it to the axle under your vehicle.
No. TeraFlex says the factory seal cannot be used with its cover. The cover is sealed with RTV silicone instead.
Yes. The axle is drained to remove the factory cover, so plan on fresh gear oil of the grade your vehicle manual specifies.
The cover is thicker than a stamped factory cover, but it is shaped to follow the axle so it can take hits instead of snagging on them.
It is one of the simpler upgrades for a Jeep axle. With hand tools, a torque wrench and RTV silicone, most owners can do it at home, though TeraFlex recommends a certified mechanic.
The covers carry a protective finish and a red TeraFlex logo. Finishes are covered for 90 days against defects, and normal trail wear on the finish is expected.
