The Forged ST Rear Sway Bar Kit is part of the TeraFlex approach to balancing highway stability with trail articulation on a lifted Jeep. It gives the suspension room to flex when the trail gets uneven. Part number 1774100 fits the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler.
Not Included:
Lift components, bump stop spacers, air compressors and installation labor are not included unless the listing says otherwise.
Features
Geometry corrected for lift
Lifting a Jeep changes sway bar angles, and these parts are sized or designed to restore proper sway bar operation at the listed lift heights.
Stability on the highway
Keeping the sway bar working correctly helps control body roll and keeps steering response sharp on pavement.
Flex when you need it
Quick disconnects, trail-rate bars and adjustable arms let the suspension articulate more freely off road.
Durable sealed joints
TeraFlex links use sealed ball sockets or polyurethane joints built for long service with little maintenance.
Engineered around TeraFlex suspension
These parts are designed alongside TeraFlex lift kits and long arm systems, and several listings name the kits they pair with.

Installation
Type: Sway bars, links and disconnects · Install: Bolt-on; some rear bars need drilling and trimming · Afterward: Cycle the suspension and recheck fasteners
Read the TeraFlex instructions for this part before starting and check any bump stop, wheel backspacing or air supply requirement on the listing. A certified mechanic is recommended. Cycle the suspension afterward to confirm clearance.
Covers the JL rear forged ST sway bar. TeraFlex requires wheels with at least 4-3/4" backspacing and 2" of added rear bump stop, and Sport and Sahara models with the Dana 35 rear axle also need wheel spacers. The bar slides into the crossbeam, spacers set the arm closer to the frame or tire, and the link can go in any of three holes: 10% softer than factory, factory stiffness or 10% stiffer.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and wrenches, Torque wrench, 6mm hex, T-55 Torx
Torque: 25 ft-lb, Bushing bolts (6mm hex); 75 ft-lb, End caps (T-55 Torx); 80 ft-lb, 18mm arm bolts; 45 ft-lb, Link nut, holding the 6mm hex stud; 66 ft-lb, 18mm link bolt, factory hardware reused

About TeraFlex
TeraFlex is a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the lineup.
The company traces its history to the 1950s, when it began as MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), one of the first companies anywhere to supply Jeep parts and accessories. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and the brand credits itself with the first suspension system for that coil-spring platform, a low-range gearing option for the 231 transfer case and the CRD60 high-pinion axle.
The current catalog covers full lift systems, the Falcon shock line and a long list of Wrangler and Gladiator upgrades, and the company is now carrying the same engineering approach to other vehicles as well.
