Steering that holds its line

Big tires and hard hits bend factory steering parts and wear out joints. TeraFlex HD tie rods, drag links and ball joints are built heavier so the front end stays straight and tight.

Joints built to be maintained

Greaseable, wear-adjustable joints let you take up play and flush out grit over time, so the part keeps working instead of heading for the scrap bin.

The HD steering lineup

TeraFlex covers its HD ball joints, chromoly tie rod kit and forged drag link kit for lifted JL and JT Jeeps.

Confidence on rough ground

Pick a line through the rocks knowing the steering will not fold on the first ledge, then drive home with a front end that still points straight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Why upgrade the factory steering parts?

Bigger tires and trail impacts put more load through the steering than the factory parts were built for. HD parts are designed to resist bending and wear under that load.

Will I need an alignment?

Yes. Replacing steering or ball joint parts changes the front-end settings, so have a wheel alignment done afterward.

Do I need special tools?

Some parts do. Ball joints need a ball joint press, and tie rod work calls for large wrenches. Check the instructions for the part you are buying.

Can the joints be serviced?

Many TeraFlex HD joints are greaseable, and the ball joints are designed to be adjusted for wear rather than replaced when they loosen.

Do these work on a stock-height vehicle?

Yes. The HD parts are designed for stock and lifted vehicles within the fitment and lift range listed for each part.

What warranty covers them?

TeraFlex lists ball joints, tie rods, drag links and tie rod ends under lifetime coverage against defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser.
