A long-bed Frontier of the previous generation is the version people bought to carry things, and the bed usually shows it. Covering it protects what is left and adds no permanent hardware, since the rails clamp to the inner lip and come off cleanly. Part number 1484101 is the Pro X15 for the 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier and the 2009-2012 Suzuki Equator with the 6'1" (73.3") bed.

Features
A Woven Top, Not a Vinyl Sheet
RTxTechWeave is a 120-grade textured composite built up in five layers. It pulls tighter than vinyl does and holds that shape, which is what takes the drumming out of the ride, and the weave shrugs off the scuffs that leave a vinyl cover looking tired after a few summers.
Rails Angled to Sit Low
The side rails are cut at 15 degrees so the closed cover finishes nearly level with your bed caps. TruXedo puts the drop at roughly a third lower than its own Lo Pro, and the practical effect is less to catch the wind and a cleaner line down the side of the truck.
Tension That Resets Itself
DriveTight lives in the front header, where two spring plungers keep pressure on the fabric as it expands in summer heat and contracts in winter. It is set at the factory and adjustable by hand afterwards, so there is no seasonal re-tensioning ritual and no turnbuckle to remember.
Hook and Loop Down Both Rails
The RTxGrip closure is a multi-tiered hook-and-loop strip laid end to end along each rail rather than in patches. Push it home with your palms after every close and the edge of the cover has nothing for wind to get under, which is what keeps the sides quiet at speed.
Aluminum Cross Tubes Underneath
Straight aluminum cross tubes carry the span under the fabric so the surface does not belly out under standing rain or a load of wet snow. They are also why the closed cover reads as a flat plane rather than a tarp stretched over bows.
One Finger on the Trigger Latch
The release is a trigger latch on the driver side rail. Drop the tailgate, pull it toward you and the rear header is free; roll the cover forward and clip both retainer hooks into their loops before you drive. TruXedo puts the latch on the driver side only, so the matching hole you will see in the passenger rail is a manufacturing convention, not a missing part.
Off the Truck Without Tools
The quick-release handle disengages the header guides so the whole cover lifts clear of the rails in seconds, with the rails left clamped where they are. That turns a tall load from a problem into a two-minute job. A few bed designs in the range do not allow the system, and those applications say so in their own fitment notes.
Seals Where Beds Actually Leak
Two front corner seals, four end plug seals for the front and rear of both rails and a bulkhead seal on selected models are in the box. They go on with adhesive after the surfaces are cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, and the corners and tailgate ends they cover are precisely where an uncovered bed takes water.
Fitment & Compatibility
Fit guidance: Fits the 2005-2021 Nissan Frontier and 2009-2012 Suzuki Equator with the 6'1" (73.3") bed. Pro X15 rails are cut for one truck and one box, so the part number on this page is the only one that fits this combination.

Both rails go in with their flanges lying over the bed caps, front edges standing 3/8" off the bulkhead, and three clamps a side pull them onto the inner lip with roughly 8" left free at either end. Trueness matters more than force here: the rear header only catches when the rail line is straight, and a cover that refuses to latch is nearly always a rail sitting low or tipped rather than a broken part, which is corrected by sliding the clamp up or down. Adhesive seals want paint that has been washed, wiped with alcohol and left to dry. The cover assembly then lowers onto the rails until both header guides click, and the hook-and-loop is pressed home from cab to tailgate before the truck moves. TruXedo calls for 8 ft-lb (11 Nm) at the rail clamps. Any extra hardware is whatever the sheet written for this vehicle adds.

Pro X15 Soft Roll-Up Installation Sheet (PDF), TruXedo's own guide, document 1118696 revision D. The document covers the series rather than any one truck. Where it is the sheet in your carton, its kit list, its tool list and its clamp figure are the ones that apply; several trucks in this range are served by a different sheet with different numbers, and those listings link theirs instead.
Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. Both halves of this cover are warranted for its lifetime: the fabric on one clause, and the hardware, which TruXedo defines as rails, clamps and bows, on another. Only the first owner is covered, the cover does not pass to a second, and a dated receipt or a completed registration has to exist. Most refused claims come down to a short list of conditions. Wash it with a mild automotive soap, nothing with silicone or petroleum in it. Whenever the truck is in motion the cover has to be latched down or rolled right up with both straps on; part-open driving is excluded. Keep cargo from pushing up into the fabric. Sweep snow and ice off the top before you open it. Give the rail clamps a check a week in and occasionally from then on. Never leave the rolled cover resting on the cab or the back glass, and take it off the truck before anyone tows the truck backwards.
Free shipping. This is a parcel item rather than a freight one, and stock normally leaves the warehouse within 1 to 2 business days.
Inspect on delivery. The Pro X15 ships as a parcel rather than on a pallet, in a long carton that takes the handling on the cover's behalf. Look it over while the driver is still there. Open it the same day and count the seals and clamps against the parts list in the sheet, because a missing end plug seal or a bent rail is far easier to sort in the first week than in the third. TruXedo ships replacement parts direct, and damage noted on the delivery paperwork is what lets us move quickly.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About TruXedo
Yankton, South Dakota is where TruXedo puts its bed covers together, and the company's cover of choice for a buyer who wants quiet is this one. Claims run to the first owner only, need a dated receipt kept somewhere findable, and are honored on covers sold by dealers the manufacturer has approved. That is us, so what ships from here is a warranted Pro X15 rather than a listing that merely borrows the name.
The Pro X15 is the quiet one in the soft roll-up range. TruXport is the entry cover and Lo Pro is the low-profile vinyl signature; the Pro X15 keeps the low profile and swaps vinyl for RTxTechWeave canvas, which is what changes the noise. Pro X15 TS is the same cover with T-slot rails cut into it for racks and cargo accessories, and the Deuce rolls up like these but also hinges open at the cab end. Above all of them sit the two hard roll-ups, Sentry in vinyl over aluminum slats and Sentry CT in canvas over the same slats, which are the covers to look at if a lock rather than a latch is the deciding factor.
Everything TruXedo builds works on the same idea: a tensioned surface over an aluminum frame, clamped to the bed rather than bolted through it. Its tension and closure hardware is patented in-house, and the point of both is that nobody has to retension a cover by hand years after buying it. On the Pro X15 the surface is the woven RTxTechWeave top, the frame is a set of straight aluminum cross tubes, and the hardware carries a limited lifetime warranty alongside the fabric.
