- Short drum, rotated gearbox: This XC 12-S runs a shorter drum, and Warn turns the transmission forward 144 degrees so it can still be reached once the winch is tucked out of sight.
- Made for Fully Hidden Kits: Warn sized this winch to fit its Fully Hidden Kit mounts, which place the winch behind the factory bumper. Warn calls it the winch to use when you buy one of those kits.
- 6 ft socket relocation harness: A 6' relocation harness is included so the remote socket can be brought out to a spot you can get at, even though the winch itself sits hidden.
- Low-profile control pack: The control pack sits under the top of the tie plate, keeping the whole unit compact enough for the tight space a hidden mount leaves.
- 70 ft Spydura Pro, hawse fairlead: The drum holds 70' of Spydura Pro synthetic line, 3/8" thick, and a large-radius black aluminum hawse fairlead guides it.
- Sealed to IP68 and IP69K: Automotive-grade O-ring seals give it an IP68 rating for submersion and IP69K for high-pressure spray.
