Secure your electronics and expensive equipment behind a locking steel door with the Weather Guard 9020-3-01 lockable van cabinet. This is the open-interior version, one tall, undivided compartment behind a full door, so you can lock away a laptop, a leveling laser, a diagnostic tool or anything else you do not want walking off the jobsite. A secure locking D-handle keys the door shut, and the door itself reverses in the field: release the spring-loaded hinge pin and rehang it to open toward the aisle or the wall, whichever suits your van layout. The welded Brite White steel body stands up to daily abuse and mounts into a Weather Guard van storage setup as a clean, lockable cabinet.

Features
Locking Door for Valuables A full steel door and a secure locking D-handle turn this cabinet into a lockbox for the gear you cannot afford to lose, laptops, lasers, meters and other high-value equipment, right in the van.
Open Interior, Maximum Flexibility The 9020 has one tall, undivided compartment with no shelf, so you decide how to load it. It suits bulky or oddly shaped equipment that a fixed-shelf cabinet cannot hold. Step up to the 9021 if you want two removable shelves.
Reversible Field-Swap Door Release the spring-loaded hinge pin and rehang the door to open toward the aisle or the wall, so the cabinet works on either side of the van without buying a handed version.
Brite White ARMOR TUF Powder Coat The welded steel body wears a Brite White ARMOR TUF powder coat that resists moisture, scuffs and grime and keeps the cabinet looking clean through years of van duty.
Built Into the Weather Guard System The 9020 mounts into a Weather Guard van storage setup as a dedicated locking cabinet, so you can pair secure enclosed storage with open shelving and drawer modules in the same build.

About Weather Guard
Weather Guard has built professional-grade truck and van storage in the USA for decades and is the storage brand tradespeople, contractors, and fleets reach for first. Its steel and aluminum tool boxes, ladder racks, and van-interior systems are engineered to survive daily jobsite abuse and keep expensive tools secure and organized.
Known for weather-tight seals, patented locking systems, and heavy-gauge construction, Weather Guard products mount cleanly on work trucks and vans and stand up to years of hard use. The lineup spans crossover, low-side, and saddle truck boxes, ladder and van racks, drawer units, and fuel and utility tanks, so an entire work vehicle can be outfitted from one brand.
Backed by a strong manufacturer warranty and US-based support, Weather Guard is the name pros trust to protect the tools their livelihood depends on.
Authorized Weather Guard dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized dealer of Weather Guard, so every tool box, rack and storage product you buy is 100% genuine and factory-new, covered by the full Weather Guard manufacturer warranty, and backed by our own US-based support team.
Van Shelf Back Panels and Door Accessories Install
Weather Guard's step-by-step guide covers fitting the back panels and door accessories that turn an open van shelf unit into a closed, secure one. Back panels stop small parts dropping down behind the shelving, and the doors keep contents in place and out of sight.
It is the reference to use when you are adding to shelving you already own. Because it is the manufacturer's own video, it shows the correct fixing points and the order the parts go together.
Conquer the Chaos in Your Work Van
Weather Guard's own short film on van storage, built around the difference between a van you have to dig through and one where every item has a home. It shows the Weather Guard van range working as a single interior rather than as separate parts bolted in over time.
It is a useful orientation if you are planning an upfit and are not sure where to start. Because it is manufacturer content, the shelving, bins and flooring shown are the current Weather Guard line rather than an older catalog.
Installation Help for Your Van Accessories
Weather Guard made this video for anyone who would rather not tackle a van upfit alone. It covers the installation support Weather Guard offers on its van accessories and how to get a fitment question answered before it becomes a problem.
Watch it before you start if this is your first upfit. Knowing the support route in advance is usually what keeps a Saturday install from turning into a Monday phone call.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Does the 9020-3-01 have any shelves inside?
No. The 9020 is the open-interior version, one tall undivided compartment behind a locking door, which is ideal for bulky or oddly shaped equipment. If you want internal shelves, choose the 9021, which includes two removable shelves.
How does it lock?
The full steel door closes with a secure, keyed locking D-handle, so you can lock away laptops, lasers, meters and other valuables in the van. It is built to resist casual theft on the jobsite and overnight.
Can the door open the other way?
Yes. The door is reversible in the field. Release the spring-loaded hinge pin and rehang the door so it opens toward the aisle or the wall, whichever fits your van layout, without needing a different handed model.
What does it mount to?
It mounts into a Weather Guard van storage setup as a dedicated locking cabinet. As a modular unit it attaches to the Weather Guard system rather than to the van body, so plan the clear space in your build before ordering.
What is it made of?
Welded steel with a Brite White ARMOR TUF powder coat that resists moisture, scuffs and grime, so it holds up to daily van use and keeps a clean look.
How big is it and what does it weigh?
The cabinet is about 18" wide, 22" high and 16" deep, and it ships at about 29 pounds.

Look is great. 100 lbs
Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

A must have
I really like this mat. I was apprehensive at first but, the mat does a great job of keeping things from sliding around without having to secure it. perfect fit. But i think i will be adding some short screws to secure the mat to the DECKED system.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.

The toolbox is nice. I
The toolbox is nice. I think Ill get a lot of years of service out of it. I like how the lid opens and the tie downs are a nice touch. It seems to be well built. And tough. Im pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.
