Van Shelf Back Panels and Door Accessories Install

Weather Guard's step-by-step guide covers fitting the back panels and door accessories that turn an open van shelf unit into a closed, secure one. Back panels stop small parts dropping down behind the shelving, and the doors keep contents in place and out of sight. It is the reference to use when you are adding to shelving you already own. Because it is the manufacturer's own video, it shows the correct fixing points and the order the parts go together.

Conquer the Chaos in Your Work Van

Weather Guard's own short film on van storage, built around the difference between a van you have to dig through and one where every item has a home. It shows the Weather Guard van range working as a single interior rather than as separate parts bolted in over time. It is a useful orientation if you are planning an upfit and are not sure where to start. Because it is manufacturer content, the shelving, bins and flooring shown are the current Weather Guard line rather than an older catalog.

Installation Help for Your Van Accessories

Weather Guard made this video for anyone who would rather not tackle a van upfit alone. It covers the installation support Weather Guard offers on its van accessories and how to get a fitment question answered before it becomes a problem. Watch it before you start if this is your first upfit. Knowing the support route in advance is usually what keeps a Saturday install from turning into a Monday phone call.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

How many drawers does the 903-3-01 have?

Three self-latching steel drawers in a 21" wide cabinet. It gives you finer organization than the two-drawer 902 in the same footprint, so you can separate fasteners, hand tools and small power tools.

What shelving does it mount to?

It mounts to standard 16" deep Weather Guard van shelving with the included hardware. As a modular unit it attaches to the Weather Guard system, not to the van body, so confirm you have 16" deep shelves and about 21" of open shelf width first.

Will the drawers stay shut on rough roads?

Yes. Each drawer latches closed and holds even when the cabinet is unlocked, so none of the three drawers will fly open on hard stops or washboard roads. The keyed cam lock secures all three drawers at once.

Can I combine it with other modules?

Yes. The 903 stacks with the 902 and other secure storage modules and locking cabinets. Buying a 902 and a 903 together is the same as the 9045 five-drawer kit. Secure the upper unit to the lower one before loading.

How secure and durable is it?

The box and drawers are welded steel with a heavy-duty locking mechanism and keyed cam lock for real theft resistance, and the Brite White ARMOR TUF powder coat protects it against moisture and jobsite grime.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. It is backed by the Weather Guard Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and it ships at about 46 pounds.
