Build the most sorted, widest tool chest in the line with the Weather Guard 9988-3-01 mechanics-grade cabinet, eight wide drawers in an 18" column. It combines the maximum drawer count of the eight-drawer units with the extra width of the 18" line, so long wrenches, pry bars, larger meters and boxed accessories each get their own wide drawer and nothing lies diagonally or gets buried. Every drawer rides on ball-bearing rollers, pulls out on an easy-to-grip handle and latches shut so it holds even when the cabinet is unlocked and the road turns rough. It stacks with other 18" Weather Guard cabinets, and the welded Brite White steel body mounts to 13" or 16" deep shelving with the correct bracket.
What's Included:
- 9988 Series mechanics-grade 8-drawer cabinet in Brite White steel (18" wide)
- Eight wide self-latching drawers on ball-bearing rollers
- Easy-to-grip drawer handles (built in)
- Weather Guard installation instructions
Features
Eight Wide Drawers, Maximum Sorting
Eight drawers at 18" wide combine top drawer count with extra width, so long wrenches, pry bars, larger meters and boxed accessories each get their own wide drawer and lie flat instead of jamming diagonally.
Ball-Bearing Glide, Easy-Grip Handles
Every drawer rides on smooth ball-bearing rollers and pulls out on an easy-to-grip handle, so opening any of the eight wide drawers is quick and clean even with gloves on.
Drawers Latch Shut in Transit
Each of the eight drawers latches closed and holds even when the cabinet is unlocked, so a full load of tools stays put on hard stops and washboard roads.
Stacks With 18" Cabinets
The 9988 stacks with other 18" wide Weather Guard cabinets, so you can pair it with the four-drawer 9984 and build a matching, wider storage tower.
Brite White ARMOR TUF Powder Coat
A welded steel body with a Brite White ARMOR TUF powder coat resists moisture, scuffs and grime and keeps the cabinet looking clean through years of van duty.

Fit guidance: Fit is to the Weather Guard system rather than to a specific van. The 9988 is the 18" wide eight-drawer cabinet, about 24" high, and it stacks with other 18" Weather Guard cabinets (not the 16" line). It mounts to 13 or 16" deep shelving; the bracket is sold separately (9993-3-01 for 13", 9996-3-01 for 16"). Confirm your shelf depth, about 18" of shelf width and the vertical clearance before ordering.
