Access Toolbox Edition Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover for 2019-2027 Ram 3500 (8' Bed, Dually)

Access Toolbox Edition part 64279 is the 8' bed application for the 2019-2027 Ram 3500, made to work behind an over-the-rail toolbox in the 19" to 21" size range (not included). The cover sits 1-1/2" above the bed rails, adding a little headroom over the covered part of the bed. Exact trucks are in the fitment table, and the Installation tab shows the mounting method and any extra hardware this truck calls for.

Features

Made for over-the-rail toolboxes
The cover fits most 19" to 21" over-the-rail toolboxes and starts right behind the box, so you keep the toolbox and still cover the bed. The toolbox handle's lowest point must sit at least 1" above the bed caps.

Header bar seals the front
A header bar with molded brackets and its own seals butts against the toolbox wall, and a weather seal goes on the bulkhead behind the box.

AutoLatch II dual latches
One pull of the cord from either side opens both nylon latches, and they relock by themselves when the cover closes, with 1/2" of latch engagement.

XT-Dial tension control
Easy-grip dials adjust the tension in small steps. Turn both sides equally by hand; no tools needed.

Toolbox and corner seals
Front and rear vinyl seals, side-rail foam and added seals at the front and rear of the toolbox and the rear bed corners guard the edges.

Straps that spare the toolbox
Heavy-duty nylon straps hold the rolled cover in place and keep it from rubbing the toolbox, then buckle away underneath when the cover is closed.

Increased capacity profile
The vinyl rides 1-1/2" above the bed rails on black aluminum rails, bars and 2 bows, with 3 bows on most long beds.

Installation

Type: Clamp-on header bar and side rails on most trucks, bolt-on header bar on some  ·  Install: place the toolbox, fit the header bar, then side rails, seals and the pre-rolled cover

Use the toolbox special instructions together with the standard cover manual and any truck-specific sheet listed on the Installation tab. Confirm the toolbox handle clears the bed caps before you begin.

What the instructions for this truck call for:

• Tools listed: 1/2" Wrench, Protective eyewear, Tape measure or ruler, Clamps (optional), (2) 1/2" Wrenches, Marking pen, Ft-lb Torque wrench with 1/2" socket, Scissors, Spring clamp - optional
• Torque: Torque all clamps to 20 ft-lbs or value specified in special instructions (if supplied).
• Torque: Verify each clamp is torqued to 20 ft-lbs or value specified in special instructions (if supplied).
• Drilling: the instructions for this truck include no drilling step.
• Bed liners: Under the rail drop-in bed liner requires minimal modification at front corner of box and back by tailgate. Over the rail drop-in bed liner requires considerable modification.
• After installing: For trucks with electric tailgates, cover and tailgate should remain closed after installation for at least 24 hours. (electric tailgates only)

Warranty, Shipping & Returns

Warranty. Agri-Cover covers the Access Toolbox Edition with a 5-year limited warranty against defects under normal use on the truck it was made for. It repairs or replaces defective parts at its option; labor is not covered. Shipping. Shipping options and delivery estimates for this cover are shown at checkout. Inspect on delivery. On arrival, unpack the cover and check the rails, bars, vinyl and hardware against the component list in the manual before you start the install. Keep every carton and piece of packing until the cover is installed and working correctly.
