Taillights at eye level

Built-in lights raise the truck's signals above the bed, where drivers of larger trucks and vans pick them up sooner.

Strong frame, refined lines

Welded slats protect the cab and rear glass, while the contoured frame keeps the look clean and modern.

Seen and protected on the road

Day or night, the SRL guards the cab from cargo and adds a high set of lights that help the truck stand out in traffic.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Which installation kit do I need?

The SRL frame needs one BackRack installation kit, sold separately. Use the kit table on this page: pick the standard kit for an open bed, a 21" or 31" crossover toolbox kit if you run a toolbox, the low-profile kit to set a toolbox flush with the bed, or a tonneau adapter kit if you have a cover.

Will I have to drill into my truck?

On most late-model trucks the standard and crossover toolbox kits mount with no drilling. The low-profile toolbox kit needs two holes drilled on each side of the bed rail, and trucks without front stake pockets generally need drilling.

Are the lights included?

Yes. The taillights are built into the SRL frame. The mounting hardware is the part sold separately.

How are the lights wired?

They are designed to tap into the truck's factory 7-pin trailer harness. Follow the installation sheet for your truck when making the connection.

How does the SRL differ from the SR?

Both use a welded, slatted frame contoured to the cab. The SRL adds built-in high-mount taillights and a pre-drilled upper frame for auxiliary lights.

Is anything left out of the box?

Yes. The vehicle-specific brackets, stake pocket bolts and hardware come in the installation kit you order separately.
