The BackRack Three Light Headache Rack builds six light pockets into its square steel tube frame, three on each side, sized for standard oval trailer lights. Wire them for extra brake, turn or reverse signals up high where following drivers see them. Lights are sold separately, so you choose the colors and functions.
This frame ships without mounting hardware, so every rack needs a separately sold BackRack installation kit. Choose the kit for your truck and for what sits in your bed from the table below.
What's Included:
- Three Light headache rack frame with two bolt-in light inserts (rack only; lights not included)
Mounting hardware is not included. Order the BackRack installation kit for your truck and bed setup separately.
Features
Six built-in light pockets
Two powder-coated inserts hold six light openings, three per side, sized for standard oval trailer lights. Lights are sold separately.
Extra signals up high
Wired lights in the pockets can add brake, turn or reverse signals at a height drivers behind you notice.
Inserts bolt into the frame
The light inserts are powder coated and bolt into the frame with stainless steel cap screws.
Square tube steel frame
Square steel tubing forms a classic, minimal frame, and the steel is hot rolled, pickled and oiled so no mill scale lifts the finish.
Top bar with load stops
Ladders, extension poles and PVC pipe ride over the cab on the top bar, held by integrated load stops.
Covers and toolboxes supported
Separate BackRack kits let the rack work with a compatible tonneau cover or a crossover toolbox.

Installation
Type: Bolt-on headache rack frame · Install: Front stake pockets with a separate BackRack kit · Tools: Basic hand tools
The frame anchors at the front stake pockets of the bed through a BackRack installation kit made for your truck. Standard and crossover toolbox kits avoid drilling on most late-model trucks, while the low-profile toolbox kit drills through the bed rail so the box can sit flush. Tonneau adapter kits raise the rack to clear a cover that clamps to the bed rail.
Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. BackRack backs this rack with a 1-year limited warranty covering workmanship. The powder coat finish itself is not covered by the warranty. Inspect on delivery. Inspect the carton and the frame as soon as it arrives, and note any shipping damage with the carrier before you sign or begin the install.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About BackRack
BackRack builds steel headache racks that stand between the truck bed and the cab, guarding the rear window and cab from cargo that slides forward. The racks are made for trucks that work hard during the week and still need to look sharp when the job is done.
Every BackRack frame mounts to the bed through a truck-specific installation kit. Separate kits let the rack live alongside a crossover toolbox, a bedliner or a tonneau cover that clamps to the inside of the bed rail.
Because a BackRack sits low behind the cab, the truck still fits in a home garage and multi-level parking. Light brackets, tool holders, side rails and a rear bar turn the same frame into a platform for lights, long loads and gear, and the steel is finished in a powder coat applied in house.
