Which truck and bed does this Revolver X4s fit?
This cover is cut specifically for the 2002-2009 Ram 1500 with the 6'4" bed, which you may also see listed as 6'4", 76.3", 6.4' It clamps to the factory bed rails with no drilling. If your truck has a different bed length, choose the matching Revolver X4s for that bed.
Does this fit my Ram if it has the factory RamBox?
No. This is the non-RamBox version. If your Ram has the factory RamBox side compartments, you need the RamBox-specific Revolver X4s so the rails clear the RamBox lids.
How does the Revolver X4s open and can I drive with it open?
The X4s is a hard roll-up. You release it at the tailgate and roll the aluminum-slat cover forward onto a spool at the bulkhead, opening 100% of the bed. Strap-and-buckle tethers hold it secured at the front so you can drive with the bed open. Because it rolls onto a spool at the cab, you lose a little bed length right behind the cab versus a folding cover.
Does it keep water out of the bed?
It is built to. The one-piece TriShield 70-grade vinyl has no seams to leak, and it pairs with flush side seals and an integrated bulkhead seal. Like every roll-up it is water-resistant rather than fully submersible-tight, and water is channeled to the bed drains, so it keeps rain and car-wash spray off your cargo in the 2002-2009 Ram 1500.
Can someone get into the bed when it is closed?
No. The X4s uses patented rotational locking rails and automatic slam latches down both sides, giving it BAK's highest Level-3 security rating, and the interlocking aluminum slats are slash-resistant. With the tailgate closed and locked, the cover cannot be rolled open from outside.
How much weight can I put on the closed cover?
The cover is rated for 400 lb evenly distributed across the closed slats. That is fine for gear, a cooler or soft cargo laid flat, but not concentrated point loads or standing on it.

Added security without loss of bed space
I have a Ram Ltd with RamBox so I did not want to lose any bed space (as you do with most roll-up covers), and I also wanted a greater degree of security than is offered with most "sit on top" covers. This has a fairly robust latching system that engages at the corners of the tailgate and runs the length of the bed down each side. You have to open the tailgate to disengage it. While a determined thief with tools could probably get into it, I'm confident I'm protected from the typical smash and grab. Looks great, and after fiddling with different weather stripping, and a little caulk here and there, even in heavy rain, I don't get more than a few drops that trickle down the sides of the bed walls and at the corners of the tailgate. I don't worry about anything in there getting wet.

Fits well despite ram tailgate design
Fits very low profile and was super easy to install. The tail gate is the only issue. Ram has a curve to it and as expected the cover is flat. There is a gap on the tail gate that needs attended too if you want water tight seals.

Excellent substitute for a hard tri/quad folder
This looks better that a hard tri fold as it has no seams on the top. Fits flush without intruding on the space below. Floats comfortably above my fifth wheel without any contact. The fifth wheel is set as low as it can be in the factory puck mounts. This is to accommodate the RV and not the cover. 2015 Ram 3500. FYI. . . Rumor has it that there can be issues with ice in the winter but have not had it in winter yet.

Great Bed Cover - Ram 2500 with Rambox
This cover is really designed well. Easy to use by just rolling back as much as you need to access the stuff in the bed. The only negative was the install and the quality of design was worth the negative. The tracks were very difficult to install. They needed to slide into the existing track which was very tight. Took a lot of muscle, lubricant and some use of clamps to squeeze the guides into the tracks. Besides the difficult install I would put this on any other truck I get in the future. Probably open it everyday since I installed it a month ago and it has worked great.

Tonneau cover arrived with chips and scratches to the powder coat on the bedrails. Not sure if due to the packaging or build quality. Bedrooms were loose inside the box when opened. And metal chips from machining all over the cover. Cover functions as intended, but kind of disappointed in the quality.

After researching several products from different manufacturers, I purchased the X4s for my husbands 22’ Ram 1500 Laramie. Shipping was quick and arrived with no damage. He was able to install the cover in 35-40 minutes with no issues. Directions were easy to follow, the quality is top notch and works perfectly. It’s been about a month and after several snowfalls, lots of rain and car washes, not one leak. Looks great. I had to go out and buy more washers for the install since the screw-on knobs that attach the cover to the rails bottomed out about 3/8" before actually getting tight. Also the weight of the cover makes the rails dig in to my tailgate. Still gave it 4 stars overall since it seems durable, but for the price, these oversights should be corrected

Better than expected result.
But more difficult to install than expected. I installed this on my 2023 RAM with the 6' bed. I really had a difficult time with the mounting clamps. They didn't seem to want to stay in place while I was tightening them. I think the manufacturer could have designed a better clamp for the rails. In the end, it turned out just fine. However, I can see why everyone complains about the plastic tabs on the end of the rails. I am quite sure these will pop off in no time. It seems like an aluminum tab would work better there. I really like the looks of the low profile it provides. It rained on my truck about a week after installing and there was very little water inside. I just wish things these days weren't so expensive!

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

BAK Revolver X4S - 2023 Silverado Std Bed LTZ
Bought this cover after reading reviews and comparing it to others. I wanted rolling AND locking. It is more expensive than the Velcro-based rolling covers but worth every dollar IMO. I used a top-rated Velcro rolling cover for the last three years on another truck and this is far superior. I had ordered and was able to put it on the same day I took delivery of the 2023 Silverado LTZ I had ordered last year. The Revolver is unique in that the rolling aluminum slots forming the cover, latch into the side rails effectively making a locked bed with the tailgate up. Once the tailgate is closed it is as good as a locked trunk on a car. Took about an hour to install. The instructions were great. Basic ratchet and socket plus a wrench were all that was needed. Take your time aligning it to just hang over lip of tailgate. While the instructions recommend two people to lift the rolled-up cover…

It's great
I had an OEM soft roll up cover previously on the gladiator but the wind would lift it up in the middle and pull it out from the truck bed. I switched over to the BAK revolver X4s and definitely don't have that problem anymore. It's not 100% water proof but what cover is. I'm super happy with it and hope you would too but at the end of the day it only matters that I like it. When and if I ever need another I'll be back here to get it.

Two BakFlips, two great experiences
My first BakFlip was an MX4 on a 2016 RAM 1500 and that was a fantastic experience. Great quality and easy installation. My recent BakFlip is an X4s on a 2021 Honda Ridgeline. Again, great quality and easy installation. I just came back from a ski trip where it rained on the way up and then got really cold. I had very little moisture enter the bed area, and the roll-up function worked great even after a night of freezing moisture. I can't wait for more adventures with this cover.

What I was Looking For
I was looking for a flush mount design, that gave me piece of mind. I carry a lot of equipment in my truck and I didn't want to load it and unload it every day. Great hard rolling cover that looks amazing, if you can get past the cost
I had a BakFlip hard folding cover on my previous truck for almost 7 years and for the most part it was amazing and held up really well. One on my minor complaints was that as it aged the panels got water logged and heavy which made folding it open and closed from just one side a little cumbersome. I upgraded to a new truck recently and decided to look for other options that would be lighter and easier to open and close. I love having a hard cover. It makes me feel a little better about leaving stuff locked in the bed. My family is also into camping and I will load the bed and then throw a car top carrier on top of the hard cover. My criteria for finding a new cover was that it had to be a hard cover, needed to leave the stake pockets open for the addition of a rack to haul kayaks and canoes, be decently water tight, easy to open and close, and look good on the truck. Great cover but has a small annoyance
I love the look. The quality of the product is good. The powder coated aluminum frames makes a big difference in the look of quality. The logo sticker came off before I finished the instal. One side of my Instal is about 1/16 higher than the other side of the tailgate. During a wash and rain storm just the smallest amount of water dripped in from tailgate. I was would say due to the step of my Ford tailgate. The one grip I have is that when the cut the powder coated frames they left them shiny and you can tell.

Great Tonneau Cover
Let me start off by saying I am cheap :). Had resisted buy a Tonneau Cover for my truck for some time. Thought to my self way to costly for what it dose. I was wrong! I now can put items in the bed and not worried about them walking off or getting rained on. Just the peace of mind is worth the cost. The locking mechanism on the X4s is really cool. Every slat on the roll locks not just the ends at the gate so would take great effort to brake into this. I would say X4s is not completely water proof some still gets in at the edges by the cab but it is very minor and I think there is some ways for me to lesson it even more just haven't taken the time to see. I love the look of the X4s installation was extremely simple I has this on in less then an hour by myself. When rolled up it doesn't take much room from the bed and back windows unobstructed are unobstructed. I felt that was a big deal…

Thought this was the answer to all of my problems, I was wrong.
I need a cover which can conceal and secure cargo out of sight, while maintaining the full 5’ 2” length of my bed for dirtbikes. This cover does neither (for the Tacoma). First, the cover can easily be lifted at the tailgate and a finger can reach in to unlock the roll… and I mean easy. Plus, the roll takes up a lot of space near the cab such that a motorcycle (or anything that exceeds the bed height) definitely cannot fit. To add to this, the caps at the tailgate section of the bed came broken on mine AND there were a lot off manufacturing artifacts on all of the aluminum. I feel this was a bit misrepresented and I’ll be sending mine back if possible. IMO this is only for people who want to VISUALLY hide their small cargo but not worth it for people who want something that stands up to any job.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted to replace my soft tonneau cover with something more secure. I looked at several flip back but was concerned about the amount of water leakage so I decided to go with a hard rollup cover and the BAK X4s seemed like the best option. The cover was fairly easy to install by myself, although it would be easier with a second set of hands. The cover fit the truck bed perfectly and it looks muck cleaner than the old soft cover. Rolling it up is easy and you don't have to worry about it getting misaligned when you roll it back. While it is not completely watertight the amount of leakage is minimal through the carwash and with a bed mat in place the water drains under the mat. Overall I am very happy with ths X4s.

Order time was slow. Took over 3 weeks to deliver. Install was fairly easy. Had to grind down bolt heads to fit in the tracks of the tanneau cover. A end cap was broken on the cover. Using video for instructions was a breeze. I'm disappointed mine did not come with the T channel. It looks like an excellent way to add accessories. Having a flat area to install and to open and close would be the best in terms of keeping the top plumb rolling it back out. One other thing! If you're in an accident don't expect to get your money back. Insurance company would say in not part of specified equipment. Hence accessories not not cover on insurance policies, unless as add on's!

Everything I expected.....
...after a lot of research. Watched a bunch of videos and read a ton of reviews before purchasing and now that I have it, I'm totally satisfied. Arrived with the box in excellent shape. But, as seems to be common, the passenger side rear corner trim piece, over the tailgate was broken. Contacted Bakflip support and a new piece was here in a few days. Install was fairly easy. It's heavy, so get some help lifting it into position. It's not waterproof - I didn't expect it to be. Between the truck bed ('22 RAM 1500) and cover, there are built in leaks. All corners, especially at the tail gate, will always leak. But, water drips down the edges and nothing seems to fall directly on anything that is not against the sides. Good enough for me.

Great concept, poor design, high priced for poor quality
I’m disappointed in this product. The quality of the bedcover doesn’t justify the price. The concept of a recessed rollup seamless bedcover is great, but this product falls short. The rubber gaskets at wavy and the bedcover does not fit properly in the tracks. Even though I added shims between the side rail brackets and the bed rail just to make the bedcover fit into the track, it still isn’t perfect. It was also difficult adjusting the side rail brackets to allow the tailgate to close.

Roll back cover.
Its a overall great cover instructions are horrible honestly. Just a matter of figuring out if the tailgate should bump against the end of the cover or if it should set on top. It looks great overall but fit is a little wonky in my opinion. It's possible that ford doesn't have the tightest of manufacturing specs though. If you take your time you can make it fit better using some small spacers between bed rail and cover Chanel.

1) Rear corner end caps
1) Rear corner end caps for aftermarket / consumer product should be same as OE version ( Ford ). They are prone to popping off and requiring replacement (extra parts are now included with product so it's a known problem) 2) Rough Edges of side rails need to be finished to avoid causing injuries 3) these inexpensive improvements would make a good product an exceptional product and deserve a 6 rating !

The edges of the rails right next to where the tailgate closes a razor sharp and should have been Deburred and or filed The springs that make the rails unlock are not strong enough so that you have to pull the release cable a couple timesto get them to flip up so you can start rolling the top back.

King of the roll ups
Unlike a folding cover when this cover is fully open it does not block the view through the rear window which is important when lining up on my 5th wheel camper. One concern was possible contact between the rails and camper pin box. Ive got a Reese Goose Box and have not come close to touching. It is very easy to use and can be operated with one hand.

For the money spent I thought the quality would be better. Deducted a star because the lack of packing material protecting the side rails from getting bent ends which both did. Fixed with pliers. Deducted another star because of a weird hump only on driver side close to cab when closed and I’m not sure what’s causing it but it’s been like that since new.

Yes, they tried to make some improvements, but a big fail on the end caps. Mine broke off when unrolling the cover for installation. Also the cover had a tear under the end caps as well. Ease of installation was good.

Right to the point I rate this product 5 stars only here’s why. 1. Product came in damaged, bent rails, 2 Parts made from plastic come off and I had to use epoxy to repair those items. 3 Even after following the install instructions for alignment still will not fit to the tailgate 1/4 gap with gate is closed. 4. Driver side near cab will not catch the lock rail. If I had to buy this or recommend I wouldn’t and look for a different product. For the price we pay for a quality product this isn’t worth the expense. Sorry I really wanted to like this product, but has been a big disappointment.

Almost a fit for 21 F-150 5.5 bed
Opened the box and this seemed to be pretty nice quality overall. Once I had partially installed I needed to unroll it to access the back end as it was rolled up with the back end inside the roll. Both back corner caps were busted due to the tight roll which a call to customer service had replacements in a couple of days. Most disappointing was the quality of the side rail cutouts. Each one is a T until it gets to the back where it is cut to just the top part of the T so your tailgate can close. The piece seemed cut with a pair of shears and a very sharp line existed on both rails which cut into the plastic on both sides of the tailgate when I attempted to close it the first time. They are kind of hidden under a rubber seal that also gets pushed back by the closing tailgate. Very poor engineering and quality. I had to use a file to smooth these burred cut lines down so they wouldn't…

Revolver X4s for the Honda Ridgeline
Overall, I like the cover a lot! looks good and was easy to install. However, my cover does not open using only one side of the pull - I have to use both hands and release the wire on both sides and the same time. It is advertised as being able to open the release from only one side, I believe. Also, there were two cosmetic issues with the cover out of the box - a light scrape on the powder-coated rail and a small slit/tear on the cover where it rests on the tailgate. If these issues were not a problem, I would give it 4-5 stars easily.

2014 Toyota Tacoma
Having an older truck, we don't get too many options for quality truck bed covers so I was excited when I found this. However, I have 2 major flaws on this that I was expecting when paying such a premium price for this cover. The biggest problem with the design on this truck bed cover for 2014 toyota tacoma, is that there is a clear gap in between the tailgate and the actual cover. So much of a gap that you can reach your hand in and pull the lever to open the truck bed cover when the tailgate is closed. So now I have to try and find something to secure the gap unfortunately. The second problem I have is that the right side on the rolling cover doesn't click in when you push it down like the left side. I have to actually pull the lever on the right side for it to lock into place. If I would have known this from the start I would not have purchased this. However, the quality of the…

Missing parts and it is going to take 2 weeks for the order to process
My new cover arrived missing a part to lock it and I was told that it is going to take 2 weeks for the replacement parts to be approved and ordered. This means that it will take over 2 1/2 weeks to receive the missing part.

Missing screws and broken
The bedrail came missing a screw and the corner on the top is broken. Frustrating for the cost.

Low quality
Had this cover on my truck for a little under a year. The material started peeling off exposing the bare metal and glue that was holding it on, then the metal parts started coming apart likely due to the material peeling. Not happy at all with this product as it didn’t even last a full calendar year, considering how much it cost i thought I was going to get a quality product that would last longer.

Awful poor packaging slow shipping
Received bent garbage due to there packing!! Took more than 30 days to get refund actually still haven’t got refund!! Terrible customer service response!!!!!!

Disappointed
I purchased this bed cover after a friend recommended it. It was exactly what I was looking for! When I first installed it I was really impressed but after 2 weeks of use it started breaking. (See photos)

Wouldn’t do this again.
My cover took weeks to ship. I expected sooner because the site said they had plenty in stock and I should expect fast shipping. When my cover finally arrived the packaging was damaged. My cover was also damaged. I called and logged a ticket the day I received the package. It took over a week for them to respond and ship replacement part. We’ll see how it goes from here.

Entire purchasing experience
Horrible! Waiting on my third replacement cover today, still haven’t received my discounted refund, customer service just hung up on me. I don’t recommend this this company. I’m on damage control at this point, even after speaking with Two supervisors Michael and Amanda. Poooor!

I called to order a part for my new cover the back left part popped off as i rolled it down the rep said they couldn't help me and someone would reach out to me i have yet to hear from anyone i sill need the part would love someone to contact me so i can get this fixed its has been on my truck about 25 days the truck is about 40 days old i just got it

Honda Ridgeline cover won't fit
Have been sent 2 covers now and both completely off on size. About a month of trying to get a proper cover but responses are slow and not helpful at this point. It would be great if there was an installer that I could be sent to free of charge since this has become a nightmare. Or some sort of credit since I've personally spent about 10+ hours troubleshooting this garbage. I'm going to start lighting up your social media if this isn't rectified shortly.

Revolver x4s bed cover
Well I live in South Florida and it rains a lot when it rains a lot the water goes through the cover and all your stuff in your truck bed gets wet it looks nice but it lets the water through so there you have it.

Doesn't keep out the rain
Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. First tonneau cover I have used that won't keep the rain out. Solid cover, well made, seals are just not holding up to Michigan weather (rain in September). Alot of money to spend on a tonneau that doesn't repel water. id show pics but do not know how on this review.

This is the cover I dreamed of and then.
Had the side rails been even and fit like my 2025 Ram Longhorn looks it would be a five star no questions asked. Quick and easy to expose the bed. If only the side rails matched up.

Not What I Expected
The bed cover latch does not fit between the bed rails. I have to twist the latch assemble and slam it down for it to lock and latch the cover. It is wearing into the cover rails. The cover also leaks in all 4 corners when it gets wet. At least it has its looks.

Nice cover okay fit
Not super happy with the fit of the passenger side rail. Have put it on multiple times with the same result.

It’s ok, but not great
The rails that I received were bent. The cover doesn’t sit flat. There is a hump on the driver side just behind the cab. I had a previous X4S for a non Carbon Pro bed and it was fantastic. This one just didn’t have the same care applied when manufacturing/shipping.

Overall, the cover looks nice.
Overall, the cover looks nice. One of the plastic ends at the tailgate snapped and broke off the first time we rolled it up. My husband decided it was too much trouble to remove and return it so he left it with a gap at the edge of the bed. It had to have had a weak spot or been damaged during shipping as there was no reason for it to break off like that. Disappointing considering the cost of the product.
