Made for the 6'7" bed on the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra, this BAK Revolver X4s fits that truck and bed. BAK's sheet for this Tundra uses S clamps in the existing bed holes plus the factory fasteners, with nothing to drill. My truck is right at a model-year change. Which one do I need?

This part covers the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra. 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra trucks with the same bed use Revolver X4s 80410. Go by your truck's model year and body style, or send us your VIN.

What is the difference between the Revolver X4s and the X2?

Same patented aluminum slats, locking rails, slam latches and 400 lb rating. The X4s adds TriShield 70-grade matte vinyl, an all-matte-black finish on the slats, clamps and hardware, and BAK covers it for 5 years instead of the X2's 3.

Will it keep rain and snow out of the bed?

It is built to: one-piece vinyl with no visible seams, flush side seals and a bulkhead seal. BAK calls it the most leakproof of all folding, roll-up and retractable covers, but its own install sheet notes the cover is not airtight, so plan on weather-resistant rather than sealed. Clear snow and ice off before you open it.

How much weight can it hold?

BAK rates the closed cover at 400 lb, evenly distributed. BAK's sheet also says not to drive with objects on top of the cover or tie cargo to it.

Can I drive with it rolled open?

Yes. Roll it fully to the cab and secure it with both straps. BAK says never to drive with the cover partly open, and keeping it secured is a warranty condition.

Here's the short version. Follow BAK's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact clamp and bracket positions.

  1. Take out the factory hardware. If your truck has the cargo rail, remove its fasteners and the rail; if not, remove the fasteners. Keep everything to reuse.
  2. Bolt in the first rail. Slide the S clamps into the passenger rail's slot so they line up with the bed holes, then fasten the rail into those holes with the factory fasteners, pushed tight against the front cargo rail and clear of the tailgate.
  3. Fit the pads and strap. Press a foam filler pad, adhesive end up, as far forward as it goes against the bulkhead and stick the cab bumper in the bulkhead valley. Refit the cargo rail through the lower hole of the S clamps at 7.5 Nm (6 ft-lb) with the strap assembly about 6" from the cab end; with no cargo rail, fasten the strap to the first S clamp with a Torx screw. Repeat on the driver side.
  4. Seal the bulkhead. Clean the top of the bulkhead and stick the seal from one bed rail to the other, trimming the excess. A truck with a drop-in bedliner needs no seal.
  5. Set the cover on the rails. Rest the rolled cover on the rails at the tailgate, roll it toward the cab and throw away the packaging. Fold the front panel back, drop the two mounting bolts on each side into the slotted brackets, then fit the rubber washer, large flat washer and lock knob underneath, loosely for now.
  6. Lock it in. Roll the cover open without knocking it out of line and tighten the knobs by hand only. Close it and check the locking levers hold it down on both sides. Before that, keep the 1/8" (3.2 mm) side gap so both latches meet the locking levers, and finish by sticking the D-shaped bumpers to the slats.

I never knew how much I needed this

As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted to replace my soft tonneau cover with something more secure. I looked at several flip back but was concerned about the amount of water leakage so I decided to go with a hard rollup cover and the BAK X4s seemed like the best option. The cover was fairly easy to install by myself, although it would be easier with a second set of hands. The cover fit the truck bed perfectly and it looks muck cleaner than the old soft cover. Rolling it up is easy and you don't have to worry about it getting misaligned when you roll it back. While it is not completely watertight the amount of leakage is minimal through the carwash and with a bed mat in place the water drains under the mat. Overall I am very happy with ths X4s.

Unfinished business

The edges of the rails right next to where the tailgate closes a razor sharp and should have been Deburred and or filed The springs that make the rails unlock are not strong enough so that you have to pull the release cable a couple timesto get them to flip up so you can start rolling the top back.

3 month roll-up review

This is an excellent cover for any truck. It is solidly built and looks great. I appreciate the security since I have a locking tailgate. In the last 3 months I have mostly driven the truck with the cover locked flush. On a few occasions I have driven with it rolled up (one trip was 1000 miles). No issues and easy to follow instructions; paper and videos.

Functional

Tonneau cover arrived with chips and scratches to the powder coat on the bedrails. Not sure if due to the packaging or build quality. Bedrooms were loose inside the box when opened. And metal chips from machining all over the cover. Cover functions as intended, but kind of disappointed in the quality.

Not Happy With Product

I have purchased this product previously several years ago and was happy with it. Unfortunately not this time. This cover came covered in metal shavings, the rubber gasket was not installed all the way on either rail and not positioned how it was supposed to be, a portion of the support brackets on the cover didn’t line up with the rail and needed to be adjusted, and the instructions provided were not correct for my cover type. The rubber gasket has flattened down on one side of the truck but the other side still has a curl and will not be as effective in keeping water out. One of the latches was not working properly and found that the plastic cover of the latch was installed to close to the lever.

Back Revolver X4s on 2500hd ZR2

Overall pleased with this purchase as the design allows for a simple solution to achieve an open box when needed. Installation was OK but my truck required the shims that were provided with cover. There are a couple corrections/improvements that should be done to better the product. First, after assembly the cover should be cleaned of all aluminum shavings. Second, the aluminum frame work at the tailgate end should be rounded off to prevent from being cut/scraped when accessing the truck box. This edge also should be painted black as my cover had one side painted and the other showing cut aluminum (silver). I would of rated it a 5 if it wasn’t for the couple of improvements needed.

The only bad thing to say about it was that it did have a small chip/scratch on 1 of the rails. Also, the little plastic pieces on the back corners come off easy. I ended up putting some super glue on them.

Good cover

I love the sleek profile it provides. The installation was straightforward and not difficult. The cover rolls up very easily and gives you full bed access. I would have given it a 5 star review if it didn’t let a decent amount of water in during a hard rainfall in the corners where the rails meet the bulkhead. I say this because where the cover attaches to the rails there is a noticeable gap when you lift up the weatherstripping that lays over the corners. The weatherstripping I’m referring to is attached to each rail and lays down over that area but allows water to run down into the bed from those two corners. I don’t mean it’s enough to make me dislike the cover, I just wish they would figure out a way to close that gap up somehow. Overall I love the look, functionality, and the security it provides.

Better than expected result.

But more difficult to install than expected. I installed this on my 2023 RAM with the 6' bed. I really had a difficult time with the mounting clamps. They didn't seem to want to stay in place while I was tightening them. I think the manufacturer could have designed a better clamp for the rails. In the end, it turned out just fine. However, I can see why everyone complains about the plastic tabs on the end of the rails. I am quite sure these will pop off in no time. It seems like an aluminum tab would work better there. I really like the looks of the low profile it provides. It rained on my truck about a week after installing and there was very little water inside. I just wish things these days weren't so expensive!

Like the look and gotten some compliments

Like the way it looks on my truck. Had a few people that didn't realize that you had bed covers made like the revolver, so might have sent some more business your way. Do have two complaints, one the rubber seal at the tailgate kept getting caught when the tailgate was closed, little bit of super glue fixed that. Also one of the screws for the strap tie-down is showing some rust. Will fix that also. Other than those two issues, the installation was pretty easy and loving the cover so far after having it for about a month.

BAK Revolver X4S - 2023 Silverado Std Bed LTZ

Bought this cover after reading reviews and comparing it to others. I wanted rolling AND locking. It is more expensive than the Velcro-based rolling covers but worth every dollar IMO. I used a top-rated Velcro rolling cover for the last three years on another truck and this is far superior. I had ordered and was able to put it on the same day I took delivery of the 2023 Silverado LTZ I had ordered last year. The Revolver is unique in that the rolling aluminum slots forming the cover, latch into the side rails effectively making a locked bed with the tailgate up. Once the tailgate is closed it is as good as a locked trunk on a car. Took about an hour to install. The instructions were great. Basic ratchet and socket plus a wrench were all that was needed. Take your time aligning it to just hang over lip of tailgate. While the instructions recommend two people to lift the rolled-up cover…

What I was Looking For

I was looking for a flush mount design, that gave me piece of mind. I carry a lot of equipment in my truck and I didn't want to load it and unload it every day. It's great

I had an OEM soft roll up cover previously on the gladiator but the wind would lift it up in the middle and pull it out from the truck bed. I switched over to the BAK revolver X4s and definitely don't have that problem anymore. It's not 100% water proof but what cover is. I'm super happy with it and hope you would too but at the end of the day it only matters that I like it. When and if I ever need another I'll be back here to get it.

Thought this was the answer to all of my problems, I was wrong.

I need a cover which can conceal and secure cargo out of sight, while maintaining the full 5’ 2” length of my bed for dirtbikes. This cover does neither (for the Tacoma). First, the cover can easily be lifted at the tailgate and a finger can reach in to unlock the roll… and I mean easy. Plus, the roll takes up a lot of space near the cab such that a motorcycle (or anything that exceeds the bed height) definitely cannot fit. To add to this, the caps at the tailgate section of the bed came broken on mine AND there were a lot off manufacturing artifacts on all of the aluminum. I feel this was a bit misrepresented and I’ll be sending mine back if possible. IMO this is only for people who want to VISUALLY hide their small cargo but not worth it for people who want something that stands up to any job.

Great tonneau cover

I absolutely love it, have it on my truck for more than a year. Pros First of all works with my bed rack, so for me it's worth the money from the start. It's safe, you can't cut through it with a knife like on material ones. Easy to install, everything provided in the box. It's pretty easy to clean. Good materials, I didn't saw any defects or so. It protects really good against the dust, sand and rain, if you install it correctly. It sits flush to the bed, so you have a clean look, no wind noise. Cons The only problem that I have with it, it's when I have snow or ice on it, the locking mechanism It's freezing and it's hard to open. It's scary to pull the latch, because the locking pins from the rear are made of plastic and don't want to break them. Great hard rolling cover that looks amazing, if you can get past the cost

I had a BakFlip hard folding cover on my previous truck for almost 7 years and for the most part it was amazing and held up really well. One on my minor complaints was that as it aged the panels got water logged and heavy which made folding it open and closed from just one side a little cumbersome. I upgraded to a new truck recently and decided to look for other options that would be lighter and easier to open and close. I love having a hard cover. It makes me feel a little better about leaving stuff locked in the bed. My family is also into camping and I will load the bed and then throw a car top carrier on top of the hard cover. My criteria for finding a new cover was that it had to be a hard cover, needed to leave the stake pockets open for the addition of a rack to haul kayaks and canoes, be decently water tight, easy to open and close, and look good on the truck. Great cover but has a small annoyance

I love the look. The quality of the product is good. The powder coated aluminum frames makes a big difference in the look of quality. The logo sticker came off before I finished the instal. One side of my Instal is about 1/16 higher than the other side of the tailgate. During a wash and rain storm just the smallest amount of water dripped in from tailgate. I was would say due to the step of my Ford tailgate. The one grip I have is that when the cut the powder coated frames they left them shiny and you can tell.

Great Tonneau Cover

Let me start off by saying I am cheap :). Had resisted buy a Tonneau Cover for my truck for some time. Thought to my self way to costly for what it dose. I was wrong! I now can put items in the bed and not worried about them walking off or getting rained on. Just the peace of mind is worth the cost. The locking mechanism on the X4s is really cool. Every slat on the roll locks not just the ends at the gate so would take great effort to brake into this. I would say X4s is not completely water proof some still gets in at the edges by the cab but it is very minor and I think there is some ways for me to lesson it even more just haven't taken the time to see. I love the look of the X4s installation was extremely simple I has this on in less then an hour by myself. When rolled up it doesn't take much room from the bed and back windows unobstructed are unobstructed. I felt that was a big deal…

Nice cover, looks & fits great

After two years of use this cover is great. The only downside is the felt pad on the underside will come loose with time. The sun heats up the adhesive and it begins to come loose. I ended up removing the felt completely and cleaning off the glue residue with some mineral spirits. With the felt no longer present you’ll need to watch out for the potential to get your fingers pinched. Only takes once and you’ll figure out how to avoid the potential pinching. Still very pleased with this cover.

Piece if cake

Using video for instructions was a breeze. I'm disappointed mine did not come with the T channel. It looks like an excellent way to add accessories. Having a flat area to install and to open and close would be the best in terms of keeping the top plumb rolling it back out. One other thing! If you're in an accident don't expect to get your money back. Insurance company would say in not part of specified equipment. Hence accessories not not cover on insurance policies, unless as add on's!

Ram RHO Revolver 4s

Excellent fit and easy install. The cover keeps the bed of the truck dry, even when washing the truck with a good amount of water pressure. Rolls up easily and tight, no blocking the rear window at all.

Won't buy anything else!

This is the 3rd of these I have had (one for each of the last 3 trucks I have owned). Pricey, but worth it. Keeps my stuff secure and dry almost 100%. Love the rolling action of it so I can still fit whatever I need to in the truck. Install is a bit tricky but worth it.

Great concept, poor design, high priced for poor quality

I’m disappointed in this product. The quality of the bedcover doesn’t justify the price. The concept of a recessed rollup seamless bedcover is great, but this product falls short. The rubber gaskets at wavy and the bedcover does not fit properly in the tracks. Even though I added shims between the side rail brackets and the bed rail just to make the bedcover fit into the track, it still isn’t perfect. It was also difficult adjusting the side rail brackets to allow the tailgate to close.

Best hard roll up cover

Great cover! Super flush and rolls up on top of the rails for full bed access. Easy to install! This is my second cover, first one was on my 2019 Silverado this cover was displayed on at sema 2019 and I fell in love with it! Cant beat the 5 year warranty either!

Bak Revolver X4s

First the packaging for the cover was greatly reinforced when delivered and all the partrs needed for installation were in the box thankfully. I planned to do theinstall mysself and noticed since i have the Sierra carbon pro bed that the clamps to hold down rails were not part of the installment. instead there were notched holes in bed where metal clamps provided would fit and I would need to drill hles through the plastic cover to lockin the rails. This took a bit longer than expected but not too hard as I used a Youtube reel to help figure out the process. Also provided was a metal insert to help guide where the holes should be drilled to accuratley add screws to lockdown the rails. Note before before tightening all screw toward the bed add the nylon strap to hold the cover in place if leaving rolled up. This was one mistake I made as the screw are angled different once tightened…

Best Damn Tonneau Cover

Let’s talk about shipping first. I ordered this product on a Thursday evening and received it Monday afternoon. Quick turn around if you ask me. Now for the cover, super nice and easy to install. I installed it on a Dodge Ram 2500 and it looks great. It sits evenly with the top of the bed sides so it’s hard to tell that it’s on there. I own an industrial maintenance company so everything I get has to be heavy duty. With that being said, I would definitely recommend this cover. It not only looks great, it is top of the line and very solid. Easy to open and close by yourself. And to be honest, it could easily be installed by one person. Tonneau

BAK has improved their tonneau. The old glued fabric that used to fall off in the hot Texas sun has been replaced with fitted rubber(?). What a great improvement!!! Good job BAK. My son and I installed it in about 30 minutes. I recommend 2 people due to the weight of the tonneau. It can be done solo, but a lot easier with 2.

Sleek and solid cover

Bought this cover after watching numerous reviews on YouTube. Its super easy to roll, very low profile, and mostly waterproof. There is some water that gets in near the tailgate during heavy rain, but not bad at all. Was able to install it by myself, instructions were not difficult at all. Did have one issue where after a week one of the caps near the tailgate went missing, but their support was very friendly and quickly rectified the situation.

Roll back cover.

Its a overall great cover instructions are horrible honestly. Just a matter of figuring out if the tailgate should bump against the end of the cover or if it should set on top. It looks great overall but fit is a little wonky in my opinion. It's possible that ford doesn't have the tightest of manufacturing specs though. If you take your time you can make it fit better using some small spacers between bed rail and cover Chanel.

For the money spent I thought the quality would be better. Deducted a star because the lack of packing material protecting the side rails from getting bent ends which both did. Fixed with pliers. Deducted another star because of a weird hump only on driver side close to cab when closed and I’m not sure what’s causing it but it’s been like that since new.

1) Rear corner end caps

1) Rear corner end caps for aftermarket / consumer product should be same as OE version ( Ford ). They are prone to popping off and requiring replacement (extra parts are now included with product so it's a known problem) 2) Rough Edges of side rails need to be finished to avoid causing injuries 3) these inexpensive improvements would make a good product an exceptional product and deserve a 6 rating !

Yes, they tried to make some improvements, but a big fail on the end caps. Mine broke off when unrolling the cover for installation. Also the cover had a tear under the end caps as well. Ease of installation was good.

Right to the point I rate this product 5 stars only here’s why. 1. Product came in damaged, bent rails, 2 Parts made from plastic come off and I had to use epoxy to repair those items. 3 Even after following the install instructions for alignment still will not fit to the tailgate 1/4 gap with gate is closed. 4. Driver side near cab will not catch the lock rail. If I had to buy this or recommend I wouldn’t and look for a different product. For the price we pay for a quality product this isn’t worth the expense. Sorry I really wanted to like this product, but has been a big disappointment.

Almost a fit for 21 F-150 5.5 bed

Opened the box and this seemed to be pretty nice quality overall. Once I had partially installed I needed to unroll it to access the back end as it was rolled up with the back end inside the roll. Both back corner caps were busted due to the tight roll which a call to customer service had replacements in a couple of days. Most disappointing was the quality of the side rail cutouts. Each one is a T until it gets to the back where it is cut to just the top part of the T so your tailgate can close. The piece seemed cut with a pair of shears and a very sharp line existed on both rails which cut into the plastic on both sides of the tailgate when I attempted to close it the first time. They are kind of hidden under a rubber seal that also gets pushed back by the closing tailgate. Very poor engineering and quality. I had to use a file to smooth these burred cut lines down so they wouldn't…

Revolver X4s for the Honda Ridgeline

Overall, I like the cover a lot! looks good and was easy to install. However, my cover does not open using only one side of the pull - I have to use both hands and release the wire on both sides and the same time. It is advertised as being able to open the release from only one side, I believe. Also, there were two cosmetic issues with the cover out of the box - a light scrape on the powder-coated rail and a small slit/tear on the cover where it rests on the tailgate. If these issues were not a problem, I would give it 4-5 stars easily.

2014 Toyota Tacoma

Having an older truck, we don't get too many options for quality truck bed covers so I was excited when I found this. However, I have 2 major flaws on this that I was expecting when paying such a premium price for this cover. The biggest problem with the design on this truck bed cover for 2014 toyota tacoma, is that there is a clear gap in between the tailgate and the actual cover. So much of a gap that you can reach your hand in and pull the lever to open the truck bed cover when the tailgate is closed. So now I have to try and find something to secure the gap unfortunately. The second problem I have is that the right side on the rolling cover doesn't click in when you push it down like the left side. Low quality

Had this cover on my truck for a little under a year. The material started peeling off exposing the bare metal and glue that was holding it on, then the metal parts started coming apart likely due to the material peeling. Not happy at all with this product as it didn’t even last a full calendar year, considering how much it cost i thought I was going to get a quality product that would last longer.

Wouldn’t do this again.

My cover took weeks to ship. I expected sooner because the site said they had plenty in stock and I should expect fast shipping. When my cover finally arrived the packaging was damaged. My cover was also damaged. I called and logged a ticket the day I received the package. It took over a week for them to respond and ship replacement part. We’ll see how it goes from here.

Honda Ridgeline cover won't fit

Have been sent 2 covers now and both completely off on size. About a month of trying to get a proper cover but responses are slow and not helpful at this point. It would be great if there was an installer that I could be sent to free of charge since this has become a nightmare. Or some sort of credit since I've personally spent about 10+ hours troubleshooting this garbage. I'm going to start lighting up your social media if this isn't rectified shortly.

Well I live in South Florida and it rains a lot when it rains a lot the water goes through the cover and all your stuff in your truck bed gets wet it looks nice but it lets the water through so there you have it.

Doesn't keep out the rain

Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. First tonneau cover I have used that won't keep the rain out. Solid cover, well made, seals are just not holding up to Michigan weather (rain in September). Alot of money to spend on a tonneau that doesn't repel water. id show pics but do not know how on this review.
