AT4 1500
Fairly easy install. Looks great and is low profile to the bed. Wish it was a little longer as it does not have much overlap in the front or back of the bed. Happy with the product.

Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Yes. That compatibility is part of the design on this application: the F1's rails clamp so the factory deck rails and their sliding cleats stay usable under the closed cover.
Measure inside from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate. About 60" is this 5'1" short bed and about 74" is the 6'2" long bed, which uses BAK-772427. Double Cab trucks came both ways, so cab style will not tell you.
No. Toyota redesigned the Tacoma for 2024 and the bed changed with it, so the current truck uses BAK-772446 or BAK-772447 depending on bed length.
Only in that clamping beats drilling. The F1 clamps to the bed rail through its own aluminum rails and never puts a fastener through the composite, which is the right approach on a bed you cannot easily patch.
Not on the cover. The 400 lb evenly distributed rating is for static load spread across the panels, not for a rack that concentrates weight and adds leverage. Tacoma bed racks that bolt to the bed rails alongside the cover are the way to do it.
The F1 seals along the rails with EPDM and drains out through tubes at the front of the bed. The back edge is the weak point on any folding cover, and on a Tacoma an aging tailgate seal will let a little water past in a storm. It stays water-resistant, not waterproof.

High quality and easy to install.
This is my 3rd one so installation was a breeze,. Beautiful finish.
Overall easy to install and looks great. Seems to be excessive leaking around tailgate when it rains or go through the carwash. Need a better seal there.
I am very pleased with this truck cover. Easy to install, but did require two people. Looks great and I am looking forward to having this for years.
Great product very easy to install and my truck looks great
Beautiful, durable and just looks perfect . Worth every penny .
The original design for the F1 was so much better
Looked at many options and decided this was the best fit for the money. Very sturdy and fits perfect. Was a breeze to install and functions as advertised.
Back in 2011 I purchased their original f1 came out. This one is lighter then my old one. The rear seal is also better then the rubber they used to have. Now its metal with a rubber seal sitting on the tail gate. So far I love the new cover!
Looks great and very easy to install after I laid everything out it took about an hour to do by myself
I bought F1 to replace a hail damaged G2. After installation I discovered that the rails have no groove for mounting my existing BAKbox. Support on the phone said Yes, we redesigned the rails on all tonneaus a couple of years ago and BAKbox doesnt mount on any of our current rails. Nothing on the website when I ordered the F1 gave any hint my BAKbox would not mount!
