GM's T1 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 gave the 5'8" short bed a wider floor and a taller rail, and a cover that sits high on those rails makes a good-looking truck look aftermarket in a hurry. The F1 is the low one. Its panels drop nearly flush with the bed rails so the profile stays clean from the side, and the textured gloss-black finish sits next to the factory trim rather than shouting over it. Under that finish are fiber-reinforced top skins on a high-density foam core, good for 400 lb evenly distributed, latching automatically into clamp-on aluminum rails. FRP Top Skins Over a High-Density Foam Core
The F1 is built in layers. Heavy-duty fiber-reinforced plastic top skins take the hits, a rigid high-density foam core carries the load, and powder-coated aluminum bottom skins close the sandwich. That construction is what lets the closed cover hold 400 lb evenly distributed and shrug off dropped gear, branches, and hail that would dent a single-layer panel.

Ultra-Low-Profile, Nearly Flush With Your Bed Rails
This is the low-profile one. The panels sit nearly flush with the top of your bed rails, so from the side the cover almost disappears and the truck keeps its factory line. The textured gloss-black finish reads as trim, not as an add-on bolted to the bed.

Panels That Latch Themselves Into the Side Rails
Close the cover and each panel automatically latches into the aluminum side rails. There is no loose edge for someone to get a bar under, and no separate locking step to forget. To open, reach under the rear panel and pull the release cable.

Wrap-Around Seals and a Real Drainage System
Premium EPDM rubber perimeter seals close the gap between the cover and the bed rails, and rounded hinges shed water instead of trapping it. Most applications add a dual-action tailgate seal at the back edge. Anything that gets past the seals runs down the rails and out through the drain tubes at the front of the bed. Like every folding cover this is water-resistant rather than submersible.

Two Open Positions, and the Brake Light Never Disappears
Drop the tailgate, release the rear latches, and fold the F1 forward to expose two thirds of the bed, then cinch the integrated buckle straps and drive. Need the whole bed? Fold it once more against the cab and set the integrated prop rods. Rubber bumpers protect the cab, and your third brake light stays visible in every position.

Warranty. 5-Year Limited Warranty from BAK Industries against defects in materials and workmanship, backed by US-based product support. Coverage runs to the original purchaser and is not transferable, and warranty registration or a dated proof of purchase may be required. It does not cover accident damage, neglect, improper installation, or improper servicing. To keep coverage: clean with mild automotive soap and water only, keep the cover secured at every point while the vehicle is moving, clear snow and ice before opening it, re-check the clamps after the first week of driving and periodically after that, and remove the cover before towing the truck from the rear.

Free shipping. This item ships free to the lower 48 states. Because it is an oversized item, it ships by freight and typically arrives in 3 to 7 business days.
