Features

Fiberglass-Reinforced Polymer Panels
The FiberMax leads with its panels. Fiberglass-reinforced polymer tops handle impact, abrasion, and temperature swings better than vinyl or a plain aluminum skin, and they sit on an aluminum substructure that spreads the load. Closed, the cover carries 300 lb evenly distributed, which is enough for boards, plywood, or a flat load laid across the bed.

UV Resistant, So the Finish Stays Put
The outer panels are highly UV resistant. That matters if your truck lives outside: the textured gloss-black finish holds its color and depth through years of sun instead of chalking and fading the way an untreated surface does.

Cut and Puncture Resistant Where a Soft Cover Is Not
A knife goes through a soft tonneau in a second. The FiberMax panels are rigid FRP, so they resist cutting and puncturing and turn away most casual break-in attempts. Latch the cover down over a closed tailgate and what is in the bed stays out of sight and out of reach.

Sealed Rails and an Internal Water Channel
EPDM rubber outer rail seals and rounded hinges block most water right at the rail. What gets past runs into an internal channel built into the rails, down the tracks, and out the drain hoses. The FiberMax uses a conventional tailgate seal, so close the tailgate first and the cover second for the best water resistance.

Patented Rail With a Load-Bearing Flange
The rail is the part most covers skimp on. BAK's patented design carries the panels on a load-bearing flange that runs the length of the bed rather than at a handful of points, which is what makes the 300 lb evenly distributed rating honest and keeps the panels from flexing between supports.

Buckle Straps, Prop Rods, and No Drilling
Reach under the cover with the tailgate open, pull the release cables, and fold it forward. Nylon buckle straps hold the two-thirds-open position, and the integrated prop rods hold it folded against the cab for full bed access. Installation clamps on with the included hardware in under an hour, no drilling or trimming, and the cover is assembled in Missouri and backed for 3 years.

Coverage runs to the original purchaser and is not transferable, and warranty registration or a dated proof of purchase may be required. It does not cover accident damage, neglect, improper installation, or improper servicing. To keep coverage: clean with mild automotive soap and water only, keep the cover secured at every point while the vehicle is moving, clear snow and ice before opening it, re-check the clamps after the first week of driving and periodically after that, and remove the cover before towing the truck from the rear.
