Love it
Install was very easy. Seems to be water tight, but I haven’t had it in super adverse conditions. It looks sharp and is easy to use.

BAK makes this BAKFlip MX4 for one bed: the 5'2" box on the 2023-2026 Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon. The textured matte black cover sits flush with the bed rails and is rated at 400 lb spread evenly. It clamps to the bed rails with no drilling, following BAK's Chevy/GMC sheet, and BAK rates the install as Level 1, 30 minutes or less. For reference, the box is about 61.7" long. To open it, drop the tailgate, pull the release cable and fold the panels toward the cab. Its Gen 3 aluminum panels sit over a high-density polymer core, and BAK rates them 22% stronger than the original MX4. BAK's 5-year limited warranty covers it from the original purchase date.

Check your bed: measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate. This part is for the 5'2" bed on the 2023-2026 Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon. BAK's own brands list this box at 61.7" long.
Not for: other bed lengths; the 5'2" bed is the only Colorado/Canyon bed BAK lists for the BAKFlip MX4 on 2023-2026 trucks. 2015-2022 trucks with the same bed take BAKFlip MX4 448126.
BAK makes hard tonneau covers. BAK bills itself as "America's #1 truck bed cover."
The range splits into BAKFlip hard folding covers (MX4, MX4 EZ-Lift, MX4 TS, G2, F1 and Fibermax) and Revolver hard roll-ups (X2, X4s and X4 TS). The MX4 is the aluminum-panel BAKFlip that BAK calls America's best-selling truck bed cover; the MX4 TS adds T-slot rails and the MX4 EZ-Lift adds a lift-assist system.
Authorized BAK dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized BAK dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine BAK. BAK's warranty "is nontransferable and applies to the original purchaser of the BAK product only," and BAK requires warranty registration on file or proof of original purchase (a detailed, dated receipt) for warranty service. Your Prestige Truck order receipt is that proof.
Yes, if it has the 5'2" bed. Measured along the floor, that box is about 61.7". Measure along the bed rail from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate. If you are unsure, send us your VIN and we will confirm.
This part covers the 2023-2026 Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon. 2015-2022 trucks with the same bed take BAKFlip MX4 448126. Go by your truck's model year, or send us your VIN.
BAK lists stronger panels (high-density polymer cores, 22% stronger than the original MX4), re-engineered lock parts that resist forced entry better than the Gen 2, revised EPDM perimeter seals and tight-fit clamps, a dual-action tailgate seal 13% longer than before, re-engineered prop rod clips, and a click-in design that it says cuts install time by 12%.
It is built to: edge-to-edge seals and tight-fit clamps close the gap to the bed rails, and drain tubes carry off water that reaches the rails. BAK's own install sheet says the cover is not airtight, so plan on weather-resistant rather than sealed. Clear snow and ice off before you open it; that is a warranty condition too.
BAK rates the closed cover at 400 lb, evenly distributed. BAK's sheet also says not to drive with objects on top of the cover or tie cargo to it.
Yes. Fold it toward the cab and attach the straps to the buckles at the bulkhead, pulled snug, and you can drive with the bed open. The cover must be secured at all points while the truck is moving; that is a condition of the warranty.
Here's the short version. Follow BAK's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact clamp positions and settings.

Install was very easy. Seems to be water tight, but I haven’t had it in super adverse conditions. It looks sharp and is easy to use.
This one fit my 2020 GMC Canyon like a glove, easy to install, it is rigid and can be used either full closed or partially folded back, 2 panels of the 3, covering & securing to the 1st panel, so you can put in larger/taller items without having to completely remove the cover. That said removing it fully would not be too hard either.
This is awesome. Package delivered and in 25 minutes installed perfectly by myself. Looks like factory installed. People actually check it out!
It give a different look to my truck and it's supper safe to have and used. I wonder why didn't I get it a long time ago.
Buy it ! Well made and very easy to install. Fairly light also unlike fiber glass covers. Will be buying another one for my next truck.
I've been very happy with my BAKFlip MX4. Installation was straightforward, and I had it mounted without any issues. It also comes off just as easily when I need full access to the bed, which was an important feature for me. The cover feels solid, operates smoothly, and has done exactly what I expected it to do. The only "complaint" I have isn't really about the product at all. During the first few weeks, I managed to pinch my fingers more than once while folding the panels because I kept putting my hands in the wrong spot. That's completely on me. Once I learned where to place my hands, it stopped happening. If you're installing one for the first time, just be mindful of where your fingers are when folding the panels. Overall, it's an excellent tonneau cover. Easy to install, easy to remove when needed, and built well. I'd definitely buy it again.
Good solid secure cover only gave 4 rating on Quality due to one plastic corner broken when shipped. Replacement corner sent in mail in about a week No charges , fixed corner issue . Looks Good on my White 2500 HD
My friend recommended this tonneau cover and it's been great. I no longer have to worry about strapping down stuff for many of my trips. He and I had it installed in <30 mins. Only issue I experienced is that the clips to secure the strap broke off after one use and I'm not really sure what I did to do that. I need to call to see if that part is easy to swap out or not.
Latch broke in less than a month How do I get support? I have pictures of the latch which pulled out of the cover
Fit perfect...look very nice and secure. Went through car washes, and the truck bed on wet about a foot from the gate in...satisfied for me.
Looks great and very easy to install. Fits perfectly with no cutting on my Colorado 5 1/2 ft bed. As I unfolded the cover for the first time and each panel locked in place perfectly, I thought, Wow, that was easy.
Love my new bed cover. Built tough with quality.
Got this for 2026 Chevy Colorado Trail Boss. Fits perfect, no water leak issues, easy to install by myself. Looks great.
Tonneau cover looks very good. The instructions were not for a GMC Canyon , they were for a full size Chevrolet/GMC pickup truck, so it took some extra time not knowing if the instructions were the same for both fullsize and midsize trucks, would have been much easier and quicker had I known for sure. Cover is a bit pricey, but nice.
I am still waiting for it to be delivered. I ordered it on 3-25-25. Today is 4-9-25
First off let me say that I am extremely happy with my purchase of a BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover. I love the look on my 2019 Chevy Colorado. I love how easy it is to unlock and flip over each panel and how the cover sits level with the height of the sides of the bed. I don't know if the following suggestion would apply to any truck model/year combination other than mine but in the first instruction to place the weather strip seal on the top of the front of the bed it doesn't say exactly where to place it on the rail. By that I mean that in my case the seal is about 1/2" wide and the top rail is about 2" wide. I lucked out by placing the seal along the edge closest to the back of the truck. I found out after complete installation of the cover that if I had placed the seal along the edge closest to the cab of the truck that the front edge of the cover would not have rested on the seal…
Cover could be a bit longer to overlap the transom and tailgate more/better
Fit perfect, the issue I have is when you are folding and keep open the cover, the air kick back the cover, it is not strong enough to hold, should be better quality for the price I pay, looks good but I was disappointed that did not function as needs to be.
Easy to install. Looks pro and is tough! Love it!
Watch YouTube videos before installing, get educated on item before arrival and will help with installation. Installed before trip from StLouis to San Antonio and back, then 2 days later from StLouis to San Diego and back (through Vail/Silvethorne Colorado snow). Zero issues to include car wash when we finally got back from driving (6200 total miles driving) :-) Buy with confidence and don't look back.
I would recommend this cover to everyone super easy to flip and it's pretty waterproof
Great quality, easy to install.
Previously bought a BakFlip MX4 for my Colorado. Loved it, perfect fit, no adjusting needed and service was great - had an in-the-box broken support clip which was replaced immediately. So I bought a second one for my new Canyon. Fit…it’s about half to three quarters of an inch short. Latches also needed to be adjusted, they were not engaging. A missing clip, this time for the retaining straps that simply hang down under the cover. The day I installed it, September 14, I reported the issue to support. Two days later, I was asked for my serial number, which I immediately provided. Hearing nothing, I emailed asking for an update on 9/18. Then I called support on 9/19 and was told support was backlogged. It is now end of day 9/26 and I’ve heard nothing. The system for retaining/storing the straps on my older MX4 was great. The new ones are clearly cheaper/low quality.
I wasvery pleased with the instructions. They were simple to follow and I had no issues. I'm very pleased with the quality of the MX4 .
It’s perfect fit high quality material I’m ready for my summer trip in late June early July great person on phone when ordering to ensure everything was done correctly
Was replacement for original cover from dealer Delivered quickly. Easy to install, perfect fit
This is the greatest purchase I have ever made for a tonneau cover. It was super easy to install. The fit was perfect. It is super durable. It is quick and easy to operate. And it looks GREAT! Super addition to my GMC Canyon. HIGHLY recommend it!
This is by far the best bed cover I have ever owned!
I've had three of these covers on 3 different trucks and this is the first one I've really had to work at to adjust the coverage of the tailgate. Other than that, really like the security and protection afforded by the cover.
The cover looks beautiful. Install was easy. But near the front of the bed on the right side water has a consistent drip during a med-high rain. If I was to know this leaked this much I would have bought a cheaper alternative. This review does not allow for media but I would post if I could.
This was so easy to install and is probably less than half the weight of my old one but still feels strong. I’ve driven it through several heavy down pours and it’s sat in the driveway during one with very minor leaking near the tailgate and very slightly down the sides. Id say it keeps out 97% of water. It’s also super easy to remove the cover if you need your full bed. A few things I didn’t like: The soft bumpers that protect your back window when you have it folded all the way up are stick-on strips that have trouble staying on in high heat. Those should have been made onto the cover vs stickers. Additionally the clips that hold the cover down when it’s partially flipped back are made of plastic and one of mine does not latch properly. Overall highly recommend.
Installed on 2026 Colorado, only complaint I have is overall length of cover. Does not fully cover foam tape on cab end and just barely lays on tailgate top.
This cover is very solid and was fairly easy to install. Took me about an hour.
The folding top work well. The on the left side was broken along with the cheap plastic clips, and the drain line leaked. Just remember, your things will get wet when it rains or when you wash the truck.
This cover looks to be decently made, but for the high price, had a couple of disappointing items: Metal burrs from manufacturing were left in place and had to be removed Hinges were set sloppily No paper instructions were given, had to scan a QR code and fight with my phone falling asleep during installation. Sounds petty but had a major negative impact on install. How much could two sheets of power cost? Poor instructions on the bulkhead gasket. My bulkhead (2025 Colorado) has a large radius roll down. The gasket wanted to be on the rolled portion in order for the cover to reach the tailgate, but looked like it had to be installed on the flat top portion. The gasket is partially exposed now with the cover in place. One of the bumper strips on the static portion of the cover fell off during shipping. It appears that the panel was not cleaned before they were adhered on. I am happy…
I love this cover! Having four sections makes it easier to open and close. I can also carry long items and partially open it and it’s secure while driving. I really think it’s designed well and it was easy to install. Love it!
Would be 5 stars, but the drainage hoses sent were too short. This is a simple fix as I can replace. Other than that install was simple and it looks great on my truck. I really like the flat black. Functions well, hope it lasts.
This was the second cover I’ve ordered from them. This cover is easy to install and use. Plus it’s very durable. Would highly recommend this cover.
Excellent product. Easy install. My boyfriend loves it.
Everything was great, but the box was beat up a little. Upon opening the box, there was a small dent on the inner portion of the cover. Not big enough to return, just big enough to notice.
I’ve been wanting the BakFlip MX4 for my 17 F150 for a while and I finally broke down and bought one. It’s everything I thought it’d be. It’s has great quality, durable and can easily be installed within a couple hours by yourself, but an extra set of hands doesn’t hurt.
I had an MX 2 installed on my 2017 Tacoma in January 2017. When I recently bought a 2023 Tacoma I wanted the BakFlip for it. The MX 2 is so much easier to install and it aligns with no issues. I had to keep adjusting the rails to improve the fit. The right side of the cover did not close all the way; there was a 1/4 inch gap. Part of the problem was the rubber seal improperly installed at the factory. I managed to peel it back and adjust it as it should have been.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.
3 one I buy for truck I owned good economical tunnel cover. If you don't want to spend a lot of money. They have nonfolding, power ones too. Depends on your budget.
This is my third truck to install bak flip tri fold hard cover. Each one was improved and better than the last. My only issue was a wrong part was packed with mine so I had to call customer service to ship out the correct part. I think I have had this issue on the last two covers. Issue was always resolved in a professional and professional way but it is just an added cost to you and an extra step for the customer. You dont expect this from this price point.
Replaced a soft cover with this. So far its been great. Gear is secure. Easy install.
First box came without hardware. Second box came with everything but was not straight with one side being longer than the other. They kept asking me for pictures and measurements till I had enough and sent it back for a full refund. Will never buy anything from them again. The funny thing is ,this is the second time they asked me to do a review on their junk.
It installed easily, look great, and functions good.
Great fitment, easy install. I just wish it would completely seal the bed from water. I love the look of it also. I do think the price limits it’s potential from some buyers.
The Ford Maverick factory options are fine but the BAKFlip is heavier duty. The installation was easy and took an hour but I have installed one on my F350 previously. It may take a little longer for someone with no experience installing a bed cover. Instruction are easy to follow. The BAKFlip is popular so there are excellent videos of step by step instruction online. An advantage of the BAKFlip is it is more secure than a regular cover. It’s going to be hard for someone to break into my bed and steal anything.
Love the new design. Light weight and excellent quality and design. Easy to install with minimal tool required and the looks are amazing. Super sleek.
I have purchased the BAKFlip MX-4 for 2 prior pickups and have been very pleased with the appearance, fit, materials, and workmanship. Thank you.
Tonneau cover looks great and was very easy to install. It’s very easy to fold open and gives full access to the whole bed.
First, watched the online video instructions for my year mode and make prior to starting. Small item, but 1/8" shims shown in the video were not included with my purchase. Second, both rubber bumpers that support the cover when in the folded position became unattached after 6 weeks without ever having the cover in the folded position. Third, both struts that are used to lock the cover in the folded open position are constantly vibrated from their holders and then hang down getting entangled in what ever cargo is being carried. Just a matter of time before they are broken off.
I've had a couple of bed covers in the past the mx4 is the best by far
This BAKFlip is the best cover Ive had on any of my trucks by far. Easily installed and gives the truck a nice clean look. Dont hesitate buy one today!
Got the cover quickly. Install was pretty easy but I did read and watch videos before install. My 11 year old grandson, he did most of the work inside the truck bed, and my son assisted. So you know it was a straight forward install. Love the topper.
I’m very pleased with the fit, finish and ease of installation. A couple of pieces were damaged in shipping and customer service replaced them quickly. The only improvement that I can suggest is a heavier duty box to ship it in.
Very easy install. Fits great and looks good also.
Easy install, took 20 minutes with a little help from my son. Appears to be completely waterproof through a couple of washes and a couple of thunderstorms. Great product.
Great tonneau cover for the money.
Was initially impressed with the bed cover. Appearance is great, installation was easy. But after a rain, water pools in the middle of the cover and begins to leak in the middle of the bed. Ive had numerous bed covers (roll up/soft trifold/hard trifold) and they all leak and I understand that it is unavoidable. However, other bed covers have leaked towards the cab or at the tailgate. This one leaks right in the middle of the bed. For the price I cannot and would not recommend this cover to friends/family.
Easy installation and very versatile tri-folding Tonneau Cover. Removes easily. Aesthetically appealing. Highly recommend.
Excellent customer service and easy on line ordering. Packaged well and received with no damage. Easy install. Very pleased with look.
This is my second one and I love it. I sold my truck with the first one. They are easy to install. I did it by myself. They are awesome for traveling where you can use the bed for luggage, golf clubs coolers.
The first backflip we received had a divet in the panel. They sent us a new panel that had the corner cover damaged and the screw pulled out. It was for a Long bed truck and it didn’t come with full length solid rails we had to add the extra 2’ which wasn’t easy and was annoying. Since we have been using it for over a month, 4-5 of the protective foam pieces have come loose and fallen off and we have tried to put some back on but they keep falling off. Overall this seems like a very low quality truck bed cover with components that can’t hold up to hardly any use or the outdoor elements. Very disappointed in this product.
In 2015, I bought my first BakFlip and transferred it to my second Ram 1500. Here in 2026, I bought my third Ram and decided to get the new BakFlip design and am glad I did. Very easy to install and it took me less than 30 minutes. I love the finished look - like it's from the Ram factory. I like that the folded panels are really secured in place when driving and won't get whipped in the wind plus it leaves room for maximum cargo space. The upgraded cable system for latching and unlatching is another big plus. They really designed a great product and I recommend it over all the others out there. . . well worth the money!
Love it, easy install, great cover!
Everything I expected it to be. Same as GMs only less $. I rated medium on value because Im cheap :-). Seriously though, it was easy to install. I did it solo in about 45 min. Followed YouTube instructions from a guy that took the time to video his install. Got to love YouTube. Looks sharp. Has performed as expected. Zero issues. If you have a Sierra EV, get this cover.
the cover added nice look to my chevy truck
Easy to installation, great product
I just love how it sits on my truck it makes it look very distinguished
Nice product super easy to install but grab a friend its much easier. Product fits the bed nicely. And the lathes made it easy to fold up. If I had one critique I wish the cover on the Cab side was convex to match the shape of the bed on my 25 raptor. Small critique would make it perfect other than that it still gets an A+ from me.
Only took me an hour to install. Great looking.
Ive been wanting a hardtop cover for months but I waiting to sell my camper shell, finally I was able to find the correct match since my truck is eight feet bed. It wasnt an easy task to find the correct one! This one looks great on my truck
Install was easy and keeps almost all water out. Works just as I expected.
Overall so far the cover is great I have no complaints a couple people I know say they have problems with theirs before so I'll just have to wait and see but for me it's great no problem
I like the cover especially because it's a hard top. There still is leakage and some parts, like the seal, seem to be fragile. Mines popped off. I have to move it a little to make it lock. If I have to use my whole truck bed, it covers my whole back window. I do like the steak flush look. I like that it easily opens with the pull down. I also like the fact you can close it with the truck bed door open or closed. Overall I like it, but for the price, definitely wish there were some things that were better.
Great price for a quality product. Easy to install. Shipping took way longer than expected. The final setup looks amazing.
Love the BAKFlip but disappointed missing bolts for the Snap to hold it while flipped up. But over all very pleased with the product.
While the cover looks good the quality of parts were defective. I had to call for replacement and repair parts twice. The cable to release the lip broke due to poor workmanship. I had to replace the latch myself after only 2 weeks. This is way overpriced for having to fix it myself.
My wife had one of these on her 2010 nissan titan and it was perfect in every way. So when we bought a newer truck (2015 ram 2500) we wanted to get the same cover. Tonneau was shipped quickly, was packed well and had easy instructions. The fitment is perfect and the overall utility is great. I espec6like how it acts as a headache rack when fully up and out of the way. I've had this item for a year now and have had it opened and closed around 30-40 times. The wire for the section closest to the tailgate broke. Inside the latches the wire is looped and crimped on and it slid out of the crimps. So I had to buy new cable and fix it. Works like a charm now. I will say the other stock cables work well and have not broken. Other issue is the clips that hold the seal into the side of the tonneau keep popping out. They pop back in easily but it's definitely annoying and causes the seal to…
I have this cover on a 2021 F250. I work in the construction industry and need to open it often. The corner pieces have fallen off and the coating doesn't hold up to medium use. The seal leak in various places. If this is something you rely on, I would consider other brands.
I love the low profile look of the cover but it leaks in the corners by the cab. I even purchased some silicone putty to fill in the gaps between the bed and the cover, but it still leaks.
I am happy with the product. It works well. My goal was to purchase a more heavy-duty cover, but currently it is not made for the 2026 GMC Sierra AT4 EV. If that ever changes please contact me as I most likely will be interested.
Second fold from rear window needs a latch set. The joint raises and lowers after your speed reaches 70 mph and above. This can lead to water leaks at the joint. Contacted company, but would not fix problem or refund money. They said this is normal function of the cover. This problem is caused by the design of the aerodynamics of the truck with the Cab Air Deflectors. This is different from all other Chevy Trucks.
For the price I paid, I wouldnt buy this cover again. The biggest issue is with the long-bed rails. They come in two pieces, but only include three mounting clips. Because of this, its very difficult to get the rails properly aligned during installation, and they never seem to line up quite right. The adhesive rubber bumpers have already started coming loose after being exposed to warm weather. Lastly, the cover gets extremely hot in direct sunlight. It becomes uncomfortable to touch and makes it painful to open when needed. Overall, Im disappointed. For what this cover costs, I expected better quality and a better-designed product. Now that its installed, I feel stuck with something Im not satisfied with.
The cover went on well but once I installed it, I noticed the clip that holds the strap for locking into place in the folded position, was broken off. I found the broken piece in the packing material. The only real fix would be to send the whole cover back and I needed it for my truck. I guess I should have looked it over more closely when I removed it from the packing.
It's good, but not 100%. The corners on the front have an opening where water can get in, and it's a bit hard to open.
This tonneau cover was even nicer looking than I thought it would be. Super streamlined and matches my Rhino Lining bedliner somehow. The only complaint is that I installed it three weeks ago and the adhesive foam strips are peeling up already. The truck is garage stored and it’s summer so it hasn’t been in the elements yet.
I installed in myself. Took me 5 hours the only struggle I had was reconnecting fuel lines. Only thing was I wish it had the brackets from the fuel pump to where the connectors end.
With the longer bed this cover doesn’t allow you to transport with just one fold. Any suggestions. Also, any suggestions on making it less water resistant?
This is the least weather proof cover Ive ever owned, on top of that it rattles on any pot hole or bump. The only thing this cover has going for it is the appearance.
The clamps don't seat well against the metal behind the cap rail plastic. So, they can't hold straight when closing the cover. I contacted support and they said to send a picture and over a week later I've gotten nothing back after additional email. Pretty disappointed that something so simple couldn't be resolved quickly. I have put backing material in place until they figure it out so I can at least use it. The tailgate seal was also not seated correctly so I had to take it off and reseat it. For such an expensive product they really aren't doing the small parts well.
Love everything about the cover except that it’s too short. It barely covers the edge of the bed at the front and just touches the tailgate. Seems about two to three inches shorter than it should be so it doesn’t keep the water out at the tailgate and it’s not very secure for theft.
The foam was glued together and bed cover looks worn and half of the parts are missing . Took it to a place for an install and they told me this is definitely a used item. Wasted a whole day!
very difficult to get to fit. RETURNED. Thank you for no hassle.
Product is flimsy. You can see light escaping through the cracks from the outside. Plenty of water gets inside. Side trims are always falling off rail. Always looks dirty or faded. Side stands don’t hold up box correctly.
I am very unhappy with the fit. It does not allow the tail gate of my 2026 Nissan frontier to properly close. I have to position it further forward on the bed to make it work. I would not recommend this cover or the company.
Damaged bed cover and no help from customer servic
I like the appearance and a parent quality of the product, but it would not work on a 25 Nissan frontier the rear latches would not come down enough to latch so I had to return it. customer Service was very helpful and I had no issues so far still waiting on my refund.
It looks unfinished. The rubber molding on the sides creased up were it folds. I gave it some time n the heat to see if it would flatten and it didn’t. The corners by the cab looked unfinished. The installation of the rails was horrible, yes I did it right, and it still didn’t close and lock wo slamming it or lifting on the side rails get it to lock. For the amount of money it cost I expect much better. So I returned mine and went with another brand from another company. And am very happy now. No rubber flap edges. Easy install and locks every time. Yes: the return process was fast and easy, but I’m rating the product.
I’m very disappointed with this product. It leaks at both the front and rear, which defeats the whole purpose of having a bed cover/top in the first place. The instructions were also a major issue. I have a Ram with the RamBox bed, but the instructions provided were for a Chevy 1500. The installation is not the same, and it made the process much more frustrating than it needed to be. Had I known the product would not seal properly and that the correct truck-specific instructions would not be included, I would have chosen a different top. At this point, I honestly wish I could return it.
After making several adjustments to maintain the cover from dismantling, I reached out to customer service but have yet to receive a call.
If you want a cover that does not leak look somewhere else. It has been installed correctly and it's still does not prevent water from entering the bed. . after a good rain the bed as water in it do not keep anything that is valuable in your bed.
First of all, I don’t like to bring bad news, that being said, here it goes. Last year 2022 in may, I received my first MX4, it looked great! I had little trouble with installing it, about 30 mins I’d say. My issue is with the overall durability or thickness the bad cover aluminum, it dents so easily. One hailstorm and it looked like a golf ball. Ugh, that was just having it for a few months. The company was receptive to my concern, and sent me a “fiberglass” one to hopefully correct the issue. The next light hailstorm and it was another golf ball. I’m not sure if they sent me another aluminum one by mistake, or their fiberglass dents vs. cracks? It’s just a lot of money to ruin the look of your otherwise tough looking truck. Sorry Bakflip, you even tried to make it right by sending me another one, and still failed. Makes me feel a little sick.
Looks good, I like that it folds all the way for full bed access. One of the bumpers for when it is fully open blew off. Still leaks water inside. Could probably use to be made a little longer for more coverage over the tail gate. I was expecting better for the money I paid for this thing. I have a cheaper one on a different truck that leaks about the same. I going to try some extra gasket in places and hope for the best.
