Deploys When a Door Opens
Magnetic sensors at the doors trigger the boards. Open a door and the steps move into position for entry; close the doors and they retract beneath the rocker panels.
Two Motors per Board
Each board is driven by two electric motors, which Go Rhino specifies to keep the steps working through snow and slush.
Automatic Safety Stop

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. VoltStep electric running boards carry a 5-year limited warranty. For a claim, Go Rhino asks for a copy of the purchase receipt, a photo of the issue and a photo of the vehicle the boards are installed on, and every warranty return needs an approved RGA number.
Shipping. The boards, motors and wiring ship together in a long carton by ground carrier. The carrier and service are chosen by the size and weight of the carton when the order ships.
Inspect on delivery. Open the carton when it arrives and check the boards, all four motors, the harness, sensors, magnets and lamps against the parts list in the Go Rhino guide before you start. Note any visible carton damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it, because damage reported later is much harder to claim.
