Third Step at the Bedside
A third step sits at the bedside behind the cab steps, so reaching gear near the front of the bed or in a crossover toolbox no longer means standing on a tire.
3" Stainless Steel Tube
The one-piece main tube is 3" stainless steel, fully welded, so corrosion resistance comes from the metal as well as from the finish on top of it.
4.75" Enclosed Step Plates
Each step plate is 4.75" wide and enclosed, which gives a boot a flat, secure landing getting into the cab or up to the bed.
Runs Wheel to Wheel
The bar spans from the front wheel opening to the rear, covering the rocker panels and the lower bedside against stones, curbs and trail debris.
Bolt-On, No Drilling
Each application is bracketed for one cab and bed length and bolts to factory mounting points. None of the Podium Bed Access install guides calls for drilling.

Each bar hangs from vehicle-specific brackets that bolt to factory mounting points at the rocker panel, and none of the Podium Bed Access install guides calls for drilling. The bars are long, so have a second person hold each one while you start the fasteners by hand, set the bar parallel to the body along its full length, then tighten to the values in your application's guide. Recheck every fastener after the first few weeks of driving and again at routine service, because a bar that is never rechecked can settle. The installation guide for this application uses the factory mounting points and does not call for drilling. The guide specifies fastener torque of 20 ft-lb, 20-25 ft-lb and 30 ft-lb.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. N-Fab covers the structure for life against failures in materials and workmanship, including the welds, the brackets and the stainless tube itself. Both terms belong to the original purchaser and apply on the vehicle the bars were first installed on. The textured black powder coat carries a 5-year finish warranty.
Free shipping. This part ships by ground carrier as an oversize parcel, in a long carton rather than on a pallet.
Inspect on delivery. A long carton takes knocks in transit, so look it over while the driver is there and note any crushed ends or punctures on the delivery record. Unpack it the same day and check the parts list: a bent bracket or a short hardware bag reported in the first days is a quick replacement.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. N-Fab charges a 20% restocking fee on any product returned without a defect, and an N-Fab representative has to confirm a defect in fit, form or function before a return is authorized, so please contact us before shipping a part back. Most of the N-Fab range is formed and welded tube: mild steel across the Nerf Step, EpYx, Roan and RKR lines, stainless steel in the Podium series, and extruded aluminum in Predator Pro and the Growler steps. Steel and aluminum parts are finished in gloss or textured black powder coat, and many bars are welded as one piece so there are fewer joints along the length to work loose.
