A mild lift, done right

An SST kit gives the vehicle more height at both ends and room for a larger tire package, while the parts stay matched to its factory suspension. It is the step between a simple leveling kit and a full big lift.

Parts matched to the platform

ReadyLIFT builds each SST kit around one suspension design, so spacers, brackets and arms locate where that vehicle needs them. The fit is specific rather than universal.

What an SST lift kit does

ReadyLIFT explains how its bolt-on SST lift kits add lift and room for larger tires while keeping the factory ride.

Ready for daily duty

A lifted stance with bigger tires still has to commute, tow and haul. SST kits keep a small rear rake so the vehicle sits right with weight in the bed or on the hitch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

How is an SST kit different from a leveling kit?

A leveling kit raises only the front to cancel the factory rake. An SST kit lifts the front and the rear, so the whole vehicle gains height.

What is the largest tire it clears?

The tire size ReadyLIFT lists for this exact vehicle is in the specifications on this page. Tire dimensions vary by brand, so test fit your wheel and tire combination before mounting.

Will I need an alignment after installing it?

Yes, plan on one. ReadyLIFT notes the vehicle may need an alignment after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked at the same visit.

Does it affect driver-assistance cameras and radar?

Changing ride height can shift camera, radar and sonar aim. ReadyLIFT says to check and recalibrate these systems after installation, and some vehicles need dealer tools to do it.

Can I install it myself?

ReadyLIFT recommends a certified mechanic and says to read the instructions fully before starting. The install sheet and ReadyLIFT's estimated install time for this exact kit are on this page.

Is an SST kit covered for off-road use?

ReadyLIFT's warranty excludes damage from off-road abuse on its lift kits. Its Jeep SST and Terrain Flex kits are the exception and remain covered in recreational off-road use.

Easy, Straightforward Installation

At a relaxed pace, it took me about the same amount of time as the directions stated. The directions were clear and concise. My only *slight* gripes would be that the camber/caster kit is the basic single-cam bolts rather than the dual-cam which would keep the adjustment a bit better. Although, I guess they could have just not included any to begin with. My the camber & caster angles ended up being within specifications without them anyway. Also, the vehicle does have a slight rake still (4WD). It's not terribly noticeable, but it is there.

LOVE IT!

Had this installed professionally because I’m too old to use a manual spring compressor! Ride sits right where I wanted it. Still able to bring home a pallet of wet mulch (30 bags)!

Sweet!

Bought it a few months ago right after I purchased the truck and couldn’t be happier. Ride height is perfect, ride is perfect. I get a lot of compliments on the truck. Running 35s on 17s had to remove crash bars.

Perfect lift for my F150

Bought this kit after extensive research and recommendation from my local shop. Shop quoted me a higher price for the kit, so I found my best deal online. Had my shop install it in a day and threw a new set of Nitto Ridge Grappler 305s on it today. Minor plastic trimming I did myself. Heavy duty alignment; drives like a dream. Added significant ground clearance and a super aggressive stance to the truck. Really happy with the result.

Yes It Will Fit FX4

Let me say for the record: this kit DOES fit the FX4 models. I love how the kit fits, looks, and feels on my 2016 SCREW Lariat. TIP: no matter what your shop or anyone online tells you, you HAVE TO INSTALL THE PRELOAD SPACERS. If you don't, you'll wind up with 3+ inches of rake. I'm speaking from experience here, but my shop guys were good about fixing it and getting it right. Again, the FX4 does not exceed the front end height max and so you SHOULD install the preload spacers.

Decent kit, huge rake.

This kit was recommend by a friend who had it installed on his Chevy pickup. It looked great, almost 4 inches and a leveled truck. Also our local install shop recommended it for my 2wd 2017 f-150. I also asked for the lift to be level. When the lift was added there was still a huge 2.5 inch rake on the back end. I didn't actually see any description or verbiage saying it would no be level on a 2wd until after I had it installed. Honestly, I wish I knew this before purchasing it. Personally am not a fan of a large rake with a lift. We then tried adding larger struts to compensate but neither a 4inch or 3inch extend strut would fit. So my only option is to either replace the lift with another brand or switch out the back 3inch block with a 1.5inch block and live with it. On a positive note, this lift kit did allow for 34.5 inch tires to go under it. In short, If you like the rake then this

Absolutely love this lift

I installed this kit about two months ago. My goal was to have the ability to run 35s and this kit makes it possible. I had to give my crash bars a haircut (which I expected) after that they fit just fine!

Does give your truck that nice look.

Bought this for my 2019 f 150 to give it that extra touch have gotten a lot of good complements. Only things is it does say 35” tires will fit but your going to have to do some trimming.

2019 F150 STX

This lift kit is worth the money if you're on a budget because you have to think about the installation fee unless you're doing it yourself. If i could do it again I would go with an actual 4" - 7" kit because I got used to it now and it doesn't look high as I want it to be anymore. This kit does the job but it's not fully leveled. I get about 1" difference from front to back. Front is about 41" tall and the back is about 42" tall with pretty much 35" tall wheels. But, take into consideration that depending on where you are the ground is not always leveled and your truck can appear like it's leaning forward more than normal so, as long as you are somewhere leveled the truck is going to appear leveled. It just depends where you are, just like in the picture it looks leveled because the ground is leveled.

3.50 inch ReadyLift

Gave my truck a nice little boost and allowed room for 35/12.50r20s. Did have to cut front crash bars and run 2.50 hub-centric spacers to clear the UCA on stock wheels. I would recommend a smaller rear blocks if you have a 2wd f150, 3 inch was too much and I turned to a 1.50 instead for a level look. With a 4x4 truck it wouldn’t be as noticeably “raked”. That being said, I personally wouldn’t run this on a 4x4, the angles would be far too extreme. I personally only went with it because I have a 2wd F150, aka CV Axles angles aren’t an issue for me.

Better than expected

I wanted more than a level but didn’t want to go all in. To me, this is a good compromise. I put on new Raptor take offs as well with LT315/70R17s and they do not rub and no trimming or wheel spacers were needed. I would have been ok with trimming but not wheel spacers. Ride quality is just like stock but, I did lose a couple miles to the gallon (truck is otherwise stock besides this lift and the wheels). I was a bit concerned, at first, when I saw the CV angles however, I’ve put some miles on the truck and have done some mild off roading as well and have had zero issues. The off roading I have done is low speed with serious articulation in 4 low with the rear diff locked, at times, to be able to traverse the terrain. I recently serviced my truck and the CV axles are still in great condition. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this kit as well.

Rubbing issues

I don’t know why it’s rubbing at full turn when it hasn’t rubbed at all for a good couple months since I had the SST kit installed. I had the kit installed in March and since then it hasn’t rubbed but just 3 weeks ago it started to rub at full turn

Installed on 2018 F-150 STX and still has rake.

Had a local shop install this 3.5” lift on my truck and was told my truck would be leveled - I was disappointed in the results. Rear is 3.5” taller than front (see pictures). Is there any way to fix this? I’m also questioning if the shop installed this correctly, though from what I’ve been told the shop has a good rep. Overall, truck looks better than before with lift, wheels, and tires, but I wanted a leveled lift.

Good buy

Lift is great for what I needed. On 2018 f150 fx4, make sure you add the spacer. Directions say not to, but make sure to do it. Ended up having to take everything apart and adding spacer.

Great performance on the kit so far. I’ve been driving with it for about 500 miles or so and have not had any problems. Ride is super comfortable. Looks great and raised the truck perfectly!
