Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Is this light street legal?

Rigid lists this light with its SAE beam, which the brand describes as street legal and compliant with SAE standards, built for on-road use with controlled light that does not glare oncoming drivers. Mounting height, aim and switching rules still vary by state, so check yours.

Which 360-Series types are there?

Rigid makes 360-Series PRO round pods with RGBW backlights, Laser Optic pods for maximum distance, SAE fog pods for road use, and 360 Connect bars that link round lights into one assembly.

Can I change the backlight color?

On RGBW 360-Series PRO models, Rigid lists seven backlight color modes. Amber PRO lens versions use an amber backlight only. Check this light's name and specifications.

Is a wiring harness included?

It depends on the model. Some 360 lights ship with open wire leads only and need a Rigid harness sold separately; the box list for this light shows exactly what is included.

How should I clean the lens?

Use mild soap and water or mineral spirits. Rigid's polycarbonate lenses can be damaged by ammonia-based cleaners, so skip glass cleaners and automatic car washes, and rinse road salt off with fresh water. Damage from either is not covered by the warranty.

What does the warranty cover?

Rigid's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Commercial, marine and industrial use is limited to 5 years, powder coat and lenses to 1 year, and removing the bezel or otherwise breaking the seal is not covered.
