Light that thinks ahead

At crawling speed Adapt spreads light wide around the vehicle; as speed builds it pushes light farther down the trail. The change happens on its own, so your hands stay on the wheel.

Rigid build quality

Adapt lights use Rigid's durable polycarbonate lenses and are built for real off-road use, tested to the demanding standards Rigid applies across its range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Is this light street legal?

No. Rigid does not rate this light as SAE compliant, so it is for off-road use only. Keep it switched off on public roads.

How does Adapt change the beam?

Rigid's Adapt lights shift their beam pattern with vehicle speed: wider, closer light at low speed and more reach as speed rises, without the driver switching modes.

What is the difference between Adapt, Adapt E-Series and Adapt XP?

Adapt is the original adaptive bar, Adapt E-Series puts the adaptive tech into a classic E-Series body, and Adapt XP brings it to a pod. What ships with each is in its box list.

Does it need a GPS module?

Adapt uses speed to set the beam. Check this light's box list to see whether the GPS module and dash controller are included.

How should I clean the lens?

Use mild soap and water or mineral spirits. Rigid's polycarbonate lenses can be damaged by ammonia-based cleaners, so skip glass cleaners and automatic car washes, and rinse road salt off with fresh water. Damage from either is not covered by the warranty.

What does the warranty cover?

Rigid's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Commercial, marine and industrial use is limited to 5 years, powder coat and lenses to 1 year, and removing the bezel or otherwise breaking the seal is not covered.
