Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Is this light street legal?

No. Rigid does not rate this light as SAE compliant, so it is for off-road use only. Keep it switched off on public roads.

What is Q-Series built for?

Rigid builds the Q-Series for agriculture, mining and heavy equipment, though it works on any vehicle with room for a large pod.

Does commercial use change the warranty?

Yes. Rigid limits coverage to 5 years for commercial, marine and industrial use such as agriculture, mining or manufacturing.

Which beams are offered?

Q-Series PRO pods come in flood, spot, diffused, driving, hyperspot and combo patterns, plus Amber PRO and white-housing versions. This pod's beam is in its options and specifications.

How should I clean the lens?

Use mild soap and water or mineral spirits. Rigid's polycarbonate lenses can be damaged by ammonia-based cleaners, so skip glass cleaners and automatic car washes, and rinse road salt off with fresh water. Damage from either is not covered by the warranty.

What is the small black patch on the back?

If your light has one, it is a GORE pressure-equalizing vent that helps keep moisture out of the housing. Rigid asks owners not to peel it off or paint over it.
