Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Is this light street legal?

No. Rigid does not rate this light as SAE compliant, so it is for off-road use only. Keep it switched off on public roads.

What does the backlit trim ring do?

It glows white or amber, depending on the model, for styling, and Rigid says it can also serve as an area or work light.

What is a broad spot beam?

Rigid's broad spot blends the reach of a spot with the spread of a flood, for balanced visibility on any road or in poor weather.

Is a wiring harness included?

Revolve lights ship with open wire leads. Check the box list; Rigid sells a compatible harness separately.

How should I clean the lens?

Use mild soap and water or mineral spirits. Rigid's polycarbonate lenses can be damaged by ammonia-based cleaners, so skip glass cleaners and automatic car washes, and rinse road salt off with fresh water. Damage from either is not covered by the warranty.

What does the warranty cover?

Rigid's Limited Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Commercial, marine and industrial use is limited to 5 years, powder coat and lenses to 1 year, and removing the bezel or otherwise breaking the seal is not covered.
