Features
- Adjustable Alpine short arms: Alpine short control arms adjust to balance front caster and pinion angles and set rear pinion angle, anti-squat and tire position; TeraFlex rates them for 0-4.5" of lift.
- Bolts to the factory arm mounts: The short arms bolt to the factory control arm brackets, so there is no long arm bracket conversion.
- Cross-Trail or Rogue Trail: CT systems use maintenance-free factory-style bushings; RT systems step up to Alpine IR arms whose bushings rotate freely through full travel.
- Track bars center the axles: TeraFlex says its forged adjustable track bar setup sharpens steering, centers the axles and reduces body roll.
- Room for 35" tires: TeraFlex lists 35" tires on Sport-style fenders for these systems, and larger on Rubicon fenders, with bump stop extensions set by tire size.
- Shocks sold separately: No shocks come in the box; TeraFlex recommends its Falcon shocks, tuned together with its lift coil springs.
Description & Fitment
For the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL 4-door, TeraFlex part 1533001 is the 3.5" Alpine RT3 Outback Overland short arm system. TeraFlex built the Outback Overland version for expedition travel: it adds heavy-rate Outback lift coil springs that keep the lift height when the Jeep is loaded. It runs Alpine IR short arms with TeraFlex's rotating IR bushings. For tires, TeraFlex quotes 35" tires on Sport/Sahara fenders and 35-37" on Rubicon fenders. It ships without shocks, and the Jeep needs an alignment once it is installed.

Not for: the CT (factory-style bushing) version (1523000); a Jeep that does not carry overland loads (standard RT3: 1533000); the Gladiator JT; stock wheels without adapters: TeraFlex requires wheels with 4.75" backspacing or less, or 1057000 offset adapters.
About TeraFlex
TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.
The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.
Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL?
Yes, if your Jeep matches the fitment table and is a 4-door. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.
What else do I need?
Shocks, which are not included (TeraFlex recommends its Falcon shocks), and an alignment after install. TeraFlex also requires wheels with 4.75" backspacing or less, or its 1057000 offset adapters on stock wheels.
What is the difference between CT and RT?
CT (Cross-Trail) systems use Alpine short arms with maintenance-free factory-style bushings. RT (Rogue Trail) systems build on the CT with Alpine IR arms, whose rotating IR bushings TeraFlex says remove bushing bind during full suspension travel.
What does Outback Overland mean?
TeraFlex's Outback Overland systems add heavy-rate Outback lift coil springs that hold the lift height when the Jeep is loaded for long overland trips.
Do I need new wheels?
TeraFlex calls for wheels with 4.75" backspacing or less on these systems, or its 1057000 offset wheel adapters for stock wheels. Each listing notes the requirement where TeraFlex states it.
Are shocks included?
No. Every system here ships without shocks so you can choose them; TeraFlex recommends its Falcon shocks, which it tunes alongside its lift springs.

Warranty
TeraFlex covers the control arms, IR bushings, coil springs, bump stops, track bars and sway bar parts in these systems for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Alpine control arm and track bar bushings other than IR carry 1 year, and paint and powder coat finishes 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
