Big tires need stronger brakes

Larger wheels and tires add weight and leverage that factory brakes were never sized for. TeraFlex Delta brakes and supporting parts restore confident stopping to a lifted Jeep.

Opposed pistons and large rotors

Delta calipers use opposed 4-piston designs with a high-modulus bridge, paired with large rotors, while braided lines and anchors keep the hydraulics routed safely through full travel.

Stop confidently loaded or lifted

Whether the Jeep is loaded for a week of overlanding or heading down a steep grade on big tires, a sorted brake system lets you drive it with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Do I need to bleed the brakes?

Any part that opens the hydraulic system, such as calipers or brake lines, requires bleeding the brakes afterward. Anchors and cable spacers do not.

Will Delta brakes fit my wheels?

Check caliper clearance first with the TeraFlex wheel fitment template linked on the Delta listings. Some wheels do not clear the larger calipers.

Why does the pedal feel different after the Delta upgrade?

TeraFlex notes that Delta brakes have a softer feel with more pedal travel than stock. That alone does not mean there is air in the lines, but always test the pedal before driving.

Do these work with ABS?

The Delta system is designed to work with the factory proportioning valve and ABS. The rear disc brake conversion kits do not accept ABS sensors.

Do I need longer brake lines after a lift?

Lifting stretches the factory lines at full droop. Longer lines, anchors and spacers keep lines and cables from pulling tight or rubbing the tires.

What warranty applies?

TeraFlex covers Delta Brake Kits for 3 years and brake lines for life. Brake pads and rotors are wear items and carry no warranty.
