- Aluminum doors and hinges: Every model, steel bodies included, hangs its doors on aluminum hinges with aluminum door panels, which trims weight and will not rust the way bare steel can.
- Rain gutter and weather seal: A gutter above each door opening channels rain away, and a ribbed D-shaped seal that resists taking a set closes the gap around the door to keep tools dry.
- Tool-free QuickClip doors: QuickClips let you set each door to swing out to 90 degrees or fold back to 180 degrees, and you change it by hand with no tools.

The 372-0-02 is Weather Guard's 72" Hi-Side box in aluminum diamond plate, with a bright aluminum finish. Weather Guard lists it at 72.25" L x 13.25" W x 16" H outside and 8.9 ft³ inside, at 65 lb. Both doors give a 12.75" H x 33" W opening, so you load from the side of the truck.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit a Ram 2500?
It is on our fitment list for that truck. Bed rails differ by bed length, so measure the usable length of your side rail against this 72" box (72.25" overall) before ordering.
Will it fit a Toyota Tundra?
Yes, the Tundra is on our fitment list for this 72" length, as are the Nissan Titan and Titan XD. Check that the rail is clear for the legs and J-bolts.
Do I have to drill my truck?
Yes. Weather Guard's sheet has you drill 3/8" holes in the box and 1/2" holes in the bed floor, where blind fasteners anchor the two legs, and a stake pocket under a J-bolt line may need its own 1/2" hole. Look under the bed for fuel lines, the tank and wiring before drilling, and on an aluminum bed coat the holes with zinc-rich primer.
Can I mount it on a ladder rack or a stake bed?
Not on a ladder rack: Weather Guard warns that bolting this box to a rack will damage its structure. In a pickup it must go on with the supplied legs. On a stake bed the pickup steps do not apply, and the box needs its bottom fully supported or structural mounting instead.
How do the QuickClip doors work?
Each door has QuickClips that set it to stop at 90 degrees or swing all the way to 180 degrees. You switch between the two by hand, with no tools needed.
Steel or aluminum?
Weather Guard builds both on the same layouts. Steel adds weight: the 90" steel 290 is listed at 124 lb, while the aluminum 390 of the same size and 11.1 ft³ is 74 lb. Several steel models list a 14-ga or 16-ga body.

Here's the short version. Follow Weather Guard's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Park as level as you can. Turn the box over and mark a 6" line 7/8" in from each end (extra center lines on the long models listed on p3).
- Tape the mounting pads to the bed rail. Set the box on the rail, support the rear, square and level it.
- Hold each leg square near the rear corner and mark the leg holes on the box and the bed floor; mark where the bed lip meets the box underside and any stake pocket.
- Remove the box. Drill box marks 3/8" and floor marks 1/2", set the blind fasteners in the floor, and bolt the legs to the box.
- Fit the J-bolts with the retaining washer, fender washer and nylon lock nut (nut 1/4 turn into the nylon), then set the box on the truck.
- Bolt the leg feet to the floor and turn the J-bolts under the bed lip. On aluminum beds use vinyl tape between J-bolt and bed. Never bolt this box to a ladder rack.

Weather Guard backs this box with its Limited Lifetime Warranty, issued by Werner Co.: the box is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for its expected lifetime, counted from the day you buy it.- Only the original purchaser is covered, and coverage ends if the box passes to a new owner.
- Every claim needs a copy of the original sales receipt, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.
- Werner Co. picks the remedy: it repairs the faulty part or replaces the whole box at no charge for parts or labor, or it may refund what you paid or issue a credit toward a new Weather Guard product.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accident damage, repairs Werner Co. did not authorize, misuse, overloading, or a box that was not mounted or used as Weather Guard's written instructions describe. Damage to what is stored in the box or to the vehicle is excluded too.
- Where the law allows, Werner Co. accepts no liability for incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, economic loss included. This is the only express warranty on Weather Guard products, and no dealer can change it.
- Report a problem promptly once you find it. To start a claim, contact us with your order number and photos of the issue, and we will take it up with Weather Guard for you.

Inspect on delivery
Before mounting, check the carton for both legs, the mounting pads, the J-bolts and the bolt kit, then open each door to check its seal, latch and QuickClips. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.

Tundra tool box
I got two of these for my 2018 Tundra and they work great. If you are looking for a heavy duty box then you need to get Weatherguard tool box

Toughest toolbox I’ve ever owned and 28 years. I highly recommend weather guard toolboxes. I’ve owned many different brands through the years of construction and I will never buy another brand but weather guard. I’ve owned five different weather guard boxes and I’m still using the very first one that is probably 10 years old. Last weekend my truck was broken into and they tried to break into the weather guard toolboxes. They pried The lids but could not get in. The side rail of my truck dented in before they can get in those boxes. Not only the finish is great but they are definitely break in proof. They are worth the money.
