Airing back up after a day on sand or rock is the part of the trip nobody enjoys, and doing it accurately with a cheap gauge is worse. The ARB601A puts a large backlit LCD, a thumb trigger for inflation and a bleed button for letting air out into one tool, so you set each tire to the number you actually want rather than to the nearest guess.
The chuck is nickel plated brass with a stainless braided hose, 23.5" long with a dual swivel so the head does not fight you at an awkward valve. It reads in psi, bar and kPa, runs up to 200 hours on a set of batteries with a low battery indicator, and carries a rubber bump guard because the first thing that happens to a tire gauge is being dropped on rock.
What's Included:
ARB601A digital tire inflator with 23.5" braided dual swivel hose and inflation chuck
ARB Air Systems carry pouch
Features
Large Backlit Display A big LCD with a blue backlight, readable at dusk with cold hands, which is when you are usually airing up.
Inflate And Deflate In One Tool Coated thumb trigger to add air and an easy access bleed button to let it out, so you can settle on the number without swapping tools.
Three Scales Reads 0 to 200 psi, 0 to 14 bar or 0 to 1400 kPa. Useful given ARB publishes its own compressor figures in both psi and kPa.
23.5" Dual Swivel Hose A braided hose with a swivel at each end, long enough to reach an awkward inner valve without wrestling the head straight.
Built To Be Dropped A rubber bump guard around the head, because a gauge on a trail lives on rock and gravel rather than on a bench.
200 Hours Per Set Of Batteries Up to 200 hours of runtime with a battery level indicator, so it does not quietly die between trips.

About ARB
ARB started in 1975 in a Melbourne garage, when Tony Brown began building bull bars for the four-wheel drives crossing Australia's outback, and the company has grown into the largest 4x4 accessories maker in the southern hemisphere. Its engineering campus in Kilsyth, Victoria still designs and builds the products the brand is known for, and ARB now runs offices in the USA, Europe and the Middle East with an export network reaching more than 100 countries.
Air is one of the things ARB is best known for. The compressor line, the Air Locker system it was built to feed, and the fittings, hoses and gauges that tie them together are engineered as one system, which is why an ARB air part is specified by the same part numbers the factory uses. In North America ARB operates from Auburn, Washington as Air Locker Inc., backing every product with a US warranty program. Prestige Truck is an authorized ARB dealer. Every part we ship is a genuine US-market unit with full ARB North America warranty coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Is this a gauge or an inflator?
Both, but it needs an air supply. It reads the pressure, adds air through the thumb trigger and lets air out through the bleed button. It does not generate air on its own.
What pressure range does it read?
0 to 200 psi, which it will also show as 0 to 14 bar or 0 to 1400 kPa. That covers everything from a soft sand pressure to a loaded truck tire.
How long is the hose?
23.5", braided, with a swivel at both ends. The swivels are what let you get onto an awkward inner valve without twisting the head.
How long do the batteries last?
ARB publishes up to 200 hours per set, and there is a battery level indicator so you get warning rather than a blank screen at a trailhead.
Will it survive being dropped?
It has a rubber bump guard around the head for exactly that reason. It is a tool built for a load space rather than a workshop bench, though it is still an electronic instrument.
Is the video on this page filmed on this exact model?
No, and we have flagged it. ARB's film is of the earlier ARB601, which this ARB601A supersedes. The tool works the same way; the current version has the updated ARB inflation chuck and braided hose.

Look is great. 100 lbs
Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

A must have
I really like this mat. I was apprehensive at first but, the mat does a great job of keeping things from sliding around without having to secure it. perfect fit. But i think i will be adding some short screws to secure the mat to the DECKED system.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.

The toolbox is nice. I
The toolbox is nice. I think Ill get a lot of years of service out of it. I like how the lid opens and the tie downs are a nice touch. It seems to be well built. And tough. Im pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.
