Built to fit the 2023-2026 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty (2023+ gen), the S2 Sport Dual Reverse Light Kit puts Baja Designs pods at the back of the vehicle for backing up, hitching and camp work. The kit ships with two S2 Sport pods (wide cornering beam, clear lens); brackets and wiring are included too. Choose the wiring type in the options: Toggle (448209), Trailer Hitch Harness (448231) and Upfitter (448209UP). Fit note: Two S2 Sport lights mount under the rear bumper.

Which wiring version of the S2 Sport Dual Reverse Light Kit should I pick?
Toggle versions come with a Baja Designs switch harness. Upfitter versions (part numbers ending in UP) connect to the factory upfitter switches, so choose them only if your vehicle has upfitter switch provisions. The trailer hitch harness version is reverse-triggered, so the lights come on with the reverse lamps.
Can I use these as reverse lights on public roads?
These are auxiliary off-road lights, not SAE or DOT reverse lamps, and Baja Designs rates them for off-road use only. Check your local laws, and never leave them on while driving forward on the road.
Do the lights come on automatically in reverse?
Only with a reverse-triggered trailer hitch harness version, where Baja Designs offers one. Toggle and upfitter versions are switched by hand.
Where do the lights mount?
At the rear of the vehicle, usually under the rear bumper (a few kits mount in the spare tire area instead; the fit notes say which), on brackets made for that vehicle. Each kit's fit notes give the location.
What does the warranty cover?
Baja Designs' limited lifetime warranty for recreational use covers defects in design and manufacturing on the lights; brackets and harnesses carry their maker's warranty. Details are in the warranty tile.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow Baja Designs' install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact positions, wiring and hardware.
- On each side, remove the bumper bolt with a T30 Torx, assemble the bracket from the S2 parts bag and snug the M8 bolt so the bracket can only just rotate. Secure the S2 to the bracket with the supplied hardware (4mm Allen), then finish tightening the M8 bolt (13mm).
- Connect the two lights with the 55" splitter harness. Plug and Play version only: unplug the 7-pin trailer plug at the back of the bumper, remove the blue plastic piece inside the harness connector with needle-nose pliers, plug the hitch mount harness in between the vehicle harness and the bumper plug, connect its lead to the splitter and zip-tie any excess; that version is then complete.
- Wired versions: connect the two 10' extensions to the splitter and run them along the passenger frame rail with the OEM wiring, clear of the exhaust and suspension, up through the engine bay to the passenger battery. Upfitter version only: lift off the upfitter fuse box by the passenger fuse box, clamp the harness's white Scotchlok onto the chosen auxiliary wire with pliers, refit the fuse box, connect the harness to the extension and attach its black wire to the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the negative cable from both batteries (10mm; some trucks have one) and secure them so they cannot touch the terminal. Toggle switch version only: connect the On/Off harness to the extensions, run the switch lead across the firewall, depin the white switch connector (photograph it first) and feed it through the driver footwell passthrough from inside the cab, then reconnect.
- Toggle switch version, continued: remove the side dash panel and door seal, the vent bezel and the headlight-control trim (T20 Torx, 7mm), pass the wires through the switch hole, reconnect them and press the switch in. Connect the red wire to the positive and black to the negative battery cable (10mm). All versions: reconnect the negative battery cables, tie wires away from sharp, hot or rotating parts and re-torque all fasteners after 100 miles.

Baja Designs backs its LED light bars and auxiliary lights with a limited lifetime warranty for recreational use.- Recreational automotive and off-road use: limited lifetime or 49,930 hours of operation, whichever comes first. Commercial use (agriculture, industrial, mining and public safety): 5 years or 49,930 hours. The term starts on the date the product ships.
- Coverage is for defects in design and manufacturing, for the original owner with proof of purchase or product registration. Baja Designs repairs or replaces the product or issues credit, at its option, and may substitute a similar product of comparable value if the original is no longer made.
- Not covered: installation errors, wear and tear, acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, collisions, and any modification or combination Baja Designs did not perform. Labor to remove or reinstall a warranty part is not paid.
- Brackets, wiring harnesses and switches that Baja Designs resells carry their own maker's warranty, which Baja Designs passes through to you.
- A claim starts with Baja Designs technical support, who troubleshoot first; if a part has to come back, they issue an RMA number, and Baja Designs covers return freight when the defective part is sent back within 90 days of delivery.
- Baja Designs also gives a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on its LED lights, light bars and LED lighting accessories; a dealer purchase is returned through the dealer, in new, resalable condition.
