The upper BEDBIN tray adds a 16" x 48" bin mounted above your BEDSLIDE deck, carried on the GUARDRAIL or TRAXRAIL kit rather than sitting on the deck itself. That is the point: you gain a whole second level of storage for the smaller items while the entire slide deck underneath stays clear for the big ones. The numbers matter here, so BEDSLIDE publishes them. The tray sits 15-1/2" off the floor of the truck bed, and from the BEDSLIDE deck to the top of the upper bin is 11". That 15-1/2" figure is what lets a loaded tray still roll in and out underneath most tonneau covers, which is the question people actually ask about this part. Still Clears Most Tonneau Covers
BEDSLIDE publishes the number rather than leaving you to guess: with the upper BEDBIN fitted you sit at 15-1/2" off the floor of the truck bed, which is what lets a loaded tray slide in and out under a tonneau. Measure your own cover before you order, but that is the figure to measure against.

11" From Deck to Top of Bin
The gap between the BEDSLIDE deck and the top of the upper bin is 11", so you know exactly what height of item can still live on the deck below with the tray in place.

Installation

The tray mounts onto the guardrail or TRAXRAIL track above the deck. Measure your rail length before fitting, especially if side BEDBINs are already on the same rail. Once it is tight, roll the slide in and out empty and check the clearance under your tonneau cover or cap before you load it.
