S-Type Axle-Back systems give SUVs and crossovers the classic Borla tone for less than a full Cat-Back. They replace the rear exhaust section with mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel tuned for each vehicle, and Borla states they keep drone out of the cabin.
Installation is not included, and any optional Borla part called out in the fit notes is sold separately.
Features
Signature S-Type tone
S-Type is the classic Borla voice, aggressive when you accelerate and refined at cruise, sitting between Touring and ATAK in volume.
A drone-free cabin ride
Borla states that the systems in this group produce no drone inside the vehicle.
Affordable rear-section upgrade
Replacing the exhaust from the rear axle back costs less than a Cat-Back and still gives a distinct Borla note, though with a less full-bodied sound.
Mandrel bends, T-304 stainless
Mandrel-formed tubing keeps flow smooth through every bend, and T-304 austenitic stainless steel resists corrosion and heat better than 409 or aluminized steel.
CNC-made for a precise fit
Computer numerical control manufacturing keeps each piece true to the vehicle it was designed for.
Covered by the Million-Mile Warranty
Borla covers material and workmanship defects for the original buyer on the original vehicle, with one year on finishes and moving parts.

Installation
Type: Axle-Back exhaust system · Install: vehicle-specific; method varies by application · Tools: listed on the Borla install sheet

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. Borla covers its products under the Million-Mile Warranty, which protects the original purchaser of record, on the vehicle the part was first installed on, against defects in materials or workmanship for a million miles. Carbon fiber, black coatings, tip finishes and moving parts such as valves and actuators carry a one-year term, and appearance blemishes from weather, road hazards, lack of maintenance or temperature extremes are not covered. When Borla's inspection confirms a defect, Borla repairs or replaces the part at its option. The warranty does not pay for removal or reinstallation, does not apply to parts damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication or modification, and does not cover sound level, because sound is a matter of taste. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the carton when the order is placed; long exhaust systems ship in oversize cartons. Inspect on delivery. When the carton arrives, open it and check every pipe, muffler, clamp and hanger against the parts list before you start the install, and report any shipping damage right away with photos.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About Borla
Borla began in 1978 building stainless exhaust systems for concours Rolls-Royce and Ferrari restorations, and the company has grown into a leading name in stainless performance exhaust for cars and vehicles.
Each Borla system starts as a clean-sheet design for one vehicle. Engineers at the research and development center in Oxnard, California shape the muffler bodies, internal cores and flow paths around that platform's own mechanical and acoustic traits, then offer the result in a choice of Touring, S-Type or ATAK sound.
Production happens at a 100-acre plant in Johnson City, Tennessee, where raw stainless steel is cut, bent, welded and shipped. Borla also supplies factory-installed accessory exhaust to automakers such as GM, Ford and Toyota.
