Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 & 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic 5.7L (factory single exhaust, under-bumper tip exit)

The S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust System gives the exhaust behind the catalytic converters Borla's S-Type voice, the classic Borla tone: aggressive under throttle and refined at cruise. The system is engineered around this platform's own acoustics, so the tone suits the engine rather than a generic muffler. Order Borla part 140308 for the 2009-2024 Dodge 1500 and Ram 1500 and 1500 Classic.

Installation is not included, and any extension pipe, tip or other optional Borla part called out in the fit notes is sold separately.

Borla's classic middle sound level
S-Type is a little tamer than ATAK and clearly bolder than Touring. It turns aggressive when you accelerate and returns to a refined tone at cruising speed.

Replaces piping behind the converters
The system starts downstream of the catalytic converters, so the factory converters remain installed and the change is made in the pipes and mufflers that follow them.

Muffler tuning matched to the vehicle
Borla develops each system on the vehicle it fits, adjusting muffler body shape, core layout and routing so the S-Type character works with that engine's natural sound.

Corrosion-resistant T-304 stainless
T-304 austenitic stainless steel carries more chromium and nickel than 409 or aluminized steel, which helps it shrug off road salt, moisture and heat cycles.

Million-Mile Warranty coverage
Borla warrants the system against material and workmanship defects for the original buyer on the original vehicle, with tip finishes and moving parts on a one-year term.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns

Warranty. Borla covers its products under the Million-Mile Warranty, which protects the original purchaser of record, on the vehicle the part was first installed on, against defects in materials or workmanship for a million miles. Carbon fiber, black coatings, tip finishes and moving parts such as valves and actuators carry a one-year term, and appearance blemishes from weather, road hazards, lack of maintenance or temperature extremes are not covered. When Borla's inspection confirms a defect, Borla repairs or replaces the part at its option. The warranty does not pay for removal or reinstallation, does not apply to parts damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, misapplication or modification, and does not cover sound level, because sound is a matter of taste. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the carton when the order is placed; long exhaust systems ship in oversize cartons. Inspect on delivery. When the carton arrives, open it and check every pipe, muffler, clamp and hanger against the parts list before you start the install, and report any shipping damage right away with photos.
