- Cast-Iron Construction: Fill-Rite builds the FR1200 around a cast-iron pump housing with a powdered iron rotor and sintered bronze vanes, and a stainless steel strainer screen in the inlet catches debris before it reaches the vanes.
- Fits 2" Tank Bungs: An inlet flange threads onto a 2" tank bung and takes a 1" suction pipe; the outlet is 3/4". US models are NPT, while the FR1205HE export pump-only model uses a 2" BSPT adapter and BSPP ports.
- Lockable Nozzle Hook: Beside the on/off lever is a locking link. Switch off, rest the nozzle in its boot, and run a padlock through the link and the nozzle handle to keep fuel from being taken.
- 15 GPM Rotary Vane: The rotary vane design primes itself and delivers as much as 15 GPM (57 LPM) on 12V DC, pulling fuel through as much as 8' of suction lift and pushing it up to 37' of outlet head.
- Rotatable Junction Box: The wiring junction box turns through 180 degrees, so the power cable can enter from the side that suits your tank layout, and the nozzle boot bolts on in either of two positions.
- Many Fluids, One Pump: The FR1200 is approved by Fill-Rite for diesel, kerosene, mineral spirits, gasoline including E15 ethanol blends, and biodiesel up to B20.
Description & Fitment
The FR1210HDSPA is a retail display pack rather than a single pump: Fill-Rite's part data lists four FR1210G pumps from its 12V FR1200 line and one FR189155. Fill-Rite publishes no product page or spec sheet for the pack, so the pump figures here are the FR1200 series ratings: 15 GPM (57 LPM), 12V DC, 1/4 HP, 30 minutes on and 30 off.
Fitment & Compatibility
Check your setup: that you want four pumps for resale or fleet stock. For a single pump kit choose the FR1210H; the display pack with TT10AN meters is the FR1210TT10HDSP.
Not for: DEF, water or any fluid meant for drinking or food, and fueling aircraft (Fill-Rite's manual rules these out). Fill-Rite does not publish the FR1210G kit contents or what the FR189155 item is.

Is there a spec sheet for this pack?
No. Fill-Rite has no page or data sheet for it, so we quote the FR1200 series ratings.
What power does it need?
A 12V DC battery or supply. Fill-Rite requires a 30 A fuse in the 12V circuit and has the wiring done by a licensed electrician. Never power it from thin vehicle wiring such as a lighter socket.
How long can it run at a time?
Fill-Rite rates the motor for 30 minutes of running followed by 30 minutes off. A thermal protector stops it if it overheats.
Which tanks does it fit?
Tanks with a 2" bung: NPT on US models, BSPT on the FR1205HE pump-only version. The tank needs a vent, and a fixed suction pipe should end 1-2" above the tank floor.
Can I lock the pump?
Yes. The switch has a locking link next to the lever. With the switch off and a nozzle resting in its boot, a padlock passes through that link and the nozzle handle.

Here's the short version. Follow Fill-Rite's manual (below) for the full procedure, wiring and safety steps.
- Optional: take the inlet flange off the pump by loosening its four 1/4" bolts with a 7/16" wrench; keep the bolts, screen and gasket.
- Thread the suction pipe into the inlet bung 1.5 to 2.5 turns past hand tight with a pipe wrench, using a sealant made for fuel.
- Thread the bung and pipe onto the tank 1.5 to 2.5 turns past hand tight, again with fuel-rated sealant.
- If you removed the flange, seat the screen and gasket, set the pump on the bung and tighten the four bolts to at least 40 in-lbs.
- Open the junction box (two T-25 screws), feed the red and black power leads through the 1/2" NPT opening with the black cable connector, and keep the gasket in place when you close it.
- Mount the nozzle boot to the switch plate with its 5/16" bolt at 40 in-lbs; it has two positions. Wire to a 12V supply with a 30 A fuse.

Fill-Rite covers the FR1200 Series pump with its tiered Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in material and workmanship:- Lifetime: pump castings, such as the pump and motor housings, motor frame, inlet flange and bung adapter, junction box cover, switch plate and end bells. Paint and corrosion issues are excluded.
- 5 years: the motor and its components, such as magnets, armature, brushes, thermal protector, lead wires and circuit boards.
- 2 years: wear parts, such as seals, gaskets, O-rings, springs, vanes, rotor and rotor cover, bypass cap, nozzle boot, switch parts and paint adhesion. Paint wear from use, weather or chemicals is excluded.
- 1 year: accessories packed with the pump, such as hoses, nozzles, suction pipes, cables and connectors, elbows and swivels.
- The meter on metered kits falls under Fill-Rite's 800 and 900 Series terms instead: 2 years on all meter components.
- Coverage runs from the date of sale, or the delivery date if that is later, and only the original purchaser is covered; it does not transfer to a later owner.
- It applies to products bought from Fill-Rite or a seller Fill-Rite authorizes in the United States or Canada, and Fill-Rite needs proof of purchase with a claim. Without proof of purchase or delivery, Fill-Rite starts the clock at the date code on the product.

Great product, keeps expences down
It is the best thing we bought. Fuel prices are always going up so anything we can do to make it by is helpful. We bought the heavy-duty fuel transfer pump to put fuel in the heating oil tanks and it is much cheaper that way. It is great because it gets the fuel where we want it and not on the ground. We think it is just the greatest.

Great Pump could come with optional stand pipe
These are A+ pumps, best you can get. The included stand pipe is also very high quality but made for barrel length. On my transfer tank I had to go through trial and error process of putting the bung in and measuring to determine the proper relief from bottom. Once that was done I sawed the top section of the pipe installed (removed bottom) measured by running a tape measure down to the bottom of the tank and pulling up to catch the lip of the stand pipe. Got it right and all is good.

Seem to work fine, but it is early
We had purchased a smaller less expensive pump fuel pump from Northern that failed in a short period of time. This pump is much more robust and seem to work fine for our application. Much higher quality.

Fill-rite 12V Transfer Pump W/Automatic Nozzle
I received the pump very quickly. Install went well. The only draw back (which is very minor) is it's very noisy compared to the higher price pumps that I've installed. Not sure if this is normal. Time will tell

Fill-Rite 12V 15GPM Fuel Pump Kit with Auto Nozzle
This was packaged great but it was missing the hose! Lucky we had an old hose that we could hook up to it. I could tell the box was never opened, so the manufacturer must have failed to place one in the box. Other then that, it works great.

Fill-Rite Model #FR1210GA
I bought the 15 GPM 12 V Fill-Rite about 2 years ago to use in my barn. I was skeptical after reading reviews about the nozzles leaking. Mine has NEVER leaked. Had a 14' hose and switched to a 20' hose after 2 years and installed a swivel in the line. I can tank up my car or tractor in less time than it takes me at the gas station. I highly recommend this product.

Tuthill Transfer Pump
We are using three 12v Tuthill pumps for fueling our on-site vehicles. We've been using one pump for several years to fuel the diesel heavy equipment. Earlier this year we added two more to fuel the range trucks. All 3 pumps work perfectly and have never let us down. I would recommend getting the auto shut off if can't see the fuel level as you fill. The pumps are loud enough that we can't tell when the tank is almost full.

read the fine print
I recently purchased this pump for solar powered well water pumping. It works great in this application, pumped up thirty foot head to a reservoir tank. Only problem I had was not reading all the fine print on the pump. Be sure not to run the pump for longer than thirty minutes at a time. I am on my first rebuild kit. The pump will definitely overheat and die on you if you run longer than the thirty minutes recommended by the manufacturer.
