Free Gift: Truck Tailgate Seal

A 9.8 ft (3 m) self-adhesive rubber seal that closes the gaps around your tailgate, so dust, rain and snow stay out of the bed. Those gaps are the one place a tonneau cover cannot seal. Cut it to length, peel the red backing and press it into place. There is no drilling, and the tailgate opens and closes as normal.

What's Included

• 9.8 ft (3 m) rubber tailgate seal strip with self-adhesive backing

Features

Seals the Gap Your Cover Cannot

A tonneau cover seals the top of the bed, but the tailgate still leaves a gap down each side and along the bottom. This strip fills those gaps.

Cut, Peel and Stick

Cut the strip to the lengths your tailgate needs, clean the surface, peel the red liner and press the adhesive side firmly into place.

Specifications

• Length: 9.8 ft (3 m)
• Material: Rubber, hollow bulb profile, self-adhesive backing
• Fit: Universal, cut to length for most pickup tailgates
• Install: Cut, peel and stick, no drilling

Install Tips

• Install when the air and the truck are above 60°F so the adhesive bonds properly.
• Clean every surface first. Most seals that come loose were stuck to a dirty or waxed surface.
• Press firmly along the whole strip, then leave the tailgate closed for 48 hours.
