Features

  • Hook-and-Loop Seal Stays Shut: Each side of the vinyl presses onto its rail with Gator's patented multi-tiered hook-and-loop strip, which Gator says holds firm in any weather. After you close the cover, run a hand along both rails to press the edges down.
  • Sits Low and Flush: The side rails mount inboard, inside the bed walls, so the closed cover lies level with the top of the bed instead of riding above it. Built-in supports and rods under the vinyl help stop sagging, standing water and flapping at speed.
  • Rolls Out Straight: Gator's stay-straight controls keep the roll tight and square, so the cover opens and closes evenly without pulling to one side or twisting. The rear trigger latch releases with one finger.
  • Straps Up at the Cab: Release the rear latches and roll the cover to the cab to open the entire bed. Two built-in straps hold the roll in place, so you can drive with tall cargo on board; never drive with it partly rolled.
  • Tear-Resistant Vinyl: The top is a vinyl that resists tears and weather, and a spring-loaded tension system keeps it taut through heat and cold with nothing to adjust by hand. Gator says the vinyl keeps its looks without fading.
  • Clamps On, No Drilling: The rails clamp to the bed walls, and none of Gator's SRX install sheets call for drilling. Most trucks need just two wrenches. The 2019-23 Ranger adds metric wrenches for its brackets, and a few newer platforms (Tacoma, Ranger, Ridgeline) mount to factory rails or bolt points and add a ratchet, Torx bit or Allen key, listed on the sheet Gator includes for that truck.

Description & Fitment

This SRX soft roll-up matches the 2007-2021 Toyota Tundra 5'7" bed fitted with Toyota's factory Deck Rail System, a version Gator lists separately from the plain-wall bed. The vinyl rolls up tight toward the cab and stays rolled with built-in straps, so the full box is yours for tall loads. A one-finger trigger latch at the tailgate end releases it, Gator says, and built-in structural supports help stop sagging and pooled water. Clamp-on rails, no drilling to mount on Gator's sheet, and a 2-year limited warranty.

2007-2021 Tundra 5'7" w/ Deck Rail System

Check your fit: this part is only for a 2007-2021 Tundra 5'7" box WITH the factory Deck Rail System (the aluminum tracks on the bed walls). Measure the bed along the rail from the bulkhead to the closed tailgate.

Not for: a 5'7" Tundra without deck rails (SRX 1363793), the 8' box (1346893 with deck rails, 1346793 without), or a 2022 and newer Tundra (1364093 with deck rails, 1363993 without).

About Gator

GATOR.

Gator makes truck bed covers in soft roll-up, soft tri-fold, hard folding and retractable styles, along with bed mats and floor liners. The brand started from one plain idea: a pickup bed should get protection that keeps working, season after season.

Gator builds its covers around everyday toughness and weather resistance, and it designs them for a home install. Every cover comes with Gator's install guide.

Buying Gator from Prestige Truck. Gator sells its covers only through authorized retailers, and Prestige Truck is an authorized Gator dealer. Every Gator cover we sell is new, genuine Gator product. Gator's warranty covers the original buyer and may ask for proof of purchase, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this fit a 2019 Tundra with deck rails and the 6'7" bed?

No. This part is the 5'7" box only, and the 2007-2021 6'7" box is not carried in the SRX line here. The 8' box with deck rails takes 1346893.

Is there a version for a Tundra without deck rails?

Yes: SRX 1363793 for the same 2007-2021 5'7" bed without the Deck Rail System.

Is the SRX waterproof?

No soft cover is watertight. Bulkhead and perimeter seals and the hook-and-loop edges keep most rain out, and the supports under the vinyl stop water from pooling on top. To keep the edges sealed, press the hook-and-loop down along both rails each time you close it.

Can I drive with the cover rolled open?

Yes, once it is rolled all the way to the cab and held by both retainer straps. Driving with it partly open voids Gator's warranty, and the roll should never rest against the cab or rear window.

Does the SRX lock?

It has no key lock. The trigger latches sit under the cover at the tailgate, so with your tailgate locked it keeps cargo out of sight and deters casual theft. Vinyl can be cut, so it is not a hard security cover.

How do I clean and care for the vinyl?

Wash it with mild car soap and water, using a soft brush if needed. Don't use vinyl conditioners: Gator says they shrink the vinyl. Keep cargo from pushing up against the top, and brush off snow and ice before you roll it open.

Installation

DifficultyHome install with Gator's install sheet
What's involvedSide rails clamp to the bed walls with three clamps each, level with the bed caps, no drilling
Tools
  • 9/16" wrench or socket
  • 1/2" wrench or socket

Here's the short version. Follow Gator's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact steps.

  1. Clean the rail ends with isopropyl alcohol and stick the foam weather seals to each end of both side rails.
  2. Tailgate closed: set the driver rail on the bed rail, slide it back until the rear seal just compresses on the tailgate, seal flush with the bed caps.
  3. Fit three clamps starting in the middle (about 8" from each end), finger tight so the teeth engage, then tighten with a 1/2" wrench.
  4. Level the rails with the bed caps by moving the clamps up or down; repeat on the passenger rail.
  5. Fit the tension blocks (holes 2 & 3 in the cut-out, hole 4 on top toward the cab) against the front header; pin through hole 2.
  6. Pull the front header end plugs, slide the bolts into the header both sides, refit the plugs.

Warranty, shipping & returns

  • Warranty

Gator backs the SRX with a 2-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
    • The hard parts (rails, clamps and bows) and the vinyl fabric are each covered for 2 years from the original purchase date.
    • If a cover, tarp or hardware part is defective, Gator repairs or replaces it at its choice, and may substitute a newer model of similar form and function.
    • Coverage is for the first buyer and can't be transferred. Gator may ask for proof of purchase, such as a dated, itemized receipt, so keep your order receipt.
    • To keep it valid: wash with mild car soap and water only, and skip vinyl conditioners; drive only with the cover fully closed and latched, or rolled to the cab with both straps on; keep cargo from pressing on the vinyl; don't roll or stow it against the cab or rear window, and re-roll it now and then if it stays open a long time; re-check the rail clamps after the first week and now and then after that; clear snow and ice before opening; and take the cover off before the truck is towed from the rear.
    • Claims need a return authorization number before anything is sent back. Gator may ask for the part, postage prepaid, to inspect it, and shipping for a repair or replacement is at the owner's cost; Gator charges nothing else for a covered repair or replacement.
    • Not covered: accident damage, neglect, unforeseeable use, improper installation or servicing, or anything not caused by a defect in material or workmanship. Your state may give you other rights as well.
    • For a claim or help registering your warranty, contact us with your order number and photos of the problem, and we'll walk you through Gator's process.

    • Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
