- Made for the Rockline Bumper: This plate bolts to the underside of Go Rhino's Rockline front bumper for the Bronco. It needs that bumper on the truck; the bumper is sold separately.
- Steel Under the Front End: A steel plate closes the gap beneath the bumper, adding protection low on the front of the Bronco.
- Replaces the Plastic Skid Plate: Go Rhino's sheet has you take off the Bronco's factory plastic skid plate before the bumper and steel plate go on.
- Bolts to Tabs and a Flange: Side tabs and a center flange line up with holes in the bumper and take four 3/8" bolts with washers and nuts; the factory bolts from the plastic skid plate then fix the plate to the frame.
- Matte Black Finish: The plate comes in matte black to match the Rockline bumper.
- Go Rhino 5-Year Warranty: Go Rhino warrants the black finish for 5 years against defects in material and workmanship.

Does this fit my Bronco?
It fits 2021-2026 Bronco 2-door and 4-door models that have the Go Rhino Rockline front bumper. Send us your VIN if you would like us to confirm.
How long does the install take?
Go Rhino's sheet allows 1-1/2 hours for the bumper and plate together, using inch and metric sockets and wrenches, a ratchet with extensions, a panel clip tool and a 5/32" hex key.
Do I need the Rockline bumper?
Yes. The plate bolts to the Go Rhino Rockline front bumper for the Bronco and does not fit the factory bumper.
Can I add it to a Rockline bumper that is already on?
Go Rhino's sheet attaches the plate to the bumper first and then lifts the bumper and plate onto the truck together, so plan to fit it when the bumper goes on.
What happens to the factory plastic skid plate?
It comes off: the sheet has you remove the 4 bolts that hold it before the bumper assembly goes up.
How do I look after the finish?
Wash it with a gentle car wash soap and water, dry it, and protect the coating now and then with a wax that has no abrasives in it; pure carnauba is a good choice. Skip abrasive polishes and harsh cleaners, which scratch the coating and let corrosion start.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow Go Rhino's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Bolt the skid plate's side tabs and center flange to the bumper with the supplied 3/8" bolts, washers and nuts. Leave them loose.
- Remove the 4 bolts holding the plastic skid plate.
- With a helper, lift the bumper and skid plate assembly up, line up the 3 holes each side with the frame, and fit the bumper's 1/2" bolts, washers and nuts.
- Bolt the skid plate tabs to the frame with the factory metric bolts from the plastic skid plate, then tighten all supplied and factory bolts.
- Check and re-tighten all nuts and bolts now and then.

On this black skid plate the term is 5 years.- Terms by finish, counted from the purchase date: 5 years on black finishes, 5 years on chrome, and the life of the product on polished stainless (parts ordered after April 2004).
- A claim needs your original invoice plus photos showing the product.
- Care is the owner's part of the deal: clean the product regularly and keep the finish protected with a non-abrasive polish that suits it.
- The warranty pays for the product only, not removal, installation or shipping, and exposed welds are not covered.
- Signs of alteration, misuse or mishandling, poor care or neglect, use on the wrong application, or damage from a faulty install void the warranty. A workmanship claim that meets every condition gets a one-time replacement.
