Features

  • Rate Chosen per Vehicle: ICON picks the spring rate for each vehicle and lift height, using dual rate, triple rate or performance designs depending on the part.
  • Lift and Ground Clearance: Taller springs raise the ride height by the amount ICON lists for each part, adding ground clearance and room for larger tires.
  • Built for One Position: Each kit is made for the front or rear of its vehicle, as named in the title.
  • Progressive Spring Designs: Dual and triple rate springs start soft for small bumps and firm up deeper in the travel, so ride quality holds up as the load changes.
  • ICON Warranty, Claims Through Us: ICON's published limited warranty covers these springs for the original buyer, and we open any claim with ICON for you.
  • Part of ICON's Systems: These springs come from the same development work as ICON's Stage suspension systems, so they pair with ICON shocks and lift parts.

Description & Fitment

Made for the 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator and 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler, this is ICON's front dual rate coil spring kit. Two rates are wound into each spring: a soft one for ride comfort and a firm one for control. Lift with this part: 2", as ICON states it. More ride height means more clearance under the vehicle and in the wheel wells.

About ICON Vehicle Dynamics

ICON.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics designs and builds performance suspension for trucks and SUVs at its shop in Riverside, California. Engineering is led by Dylan Evans, its head engineer and a SCORE champion driver, and ICON tests its parts on the street, on the trail and under race conditions.

ICON's engineers begin with the result they want from a vehicle, then study the forces acting on it in motion, which is where the name Vehicle Dynamics comes from. Fabrication stays in ICON's own shop, from laser cutting and metal forming to CNC machining, welding and final assembly. ICON calls its suspension systems and shock absorbers the top choice for popular trucks and SUVs.

Authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer, so every ICON part we sell is new and genuine. ICON's warranty is for the original retail buyer, on the vehicle the part was first installed on. Keep your Prestige Truck order receipt: we use it when we take a claim to ICON for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator?

It fits when your vehicle matches one of these rows: 2020-2023 Jeep Gladiator; 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler. If you are unsure about your trim or drivetrain, send us your VIN and we will check it against ICON's application list before you order.

Is there an install guide?

Yes. ICON's install sheet for 22025 is linked in the Installation section below, with its steps condensed on this page. Use the sheet for the torque values.

Dual rate or triple rate: what is the difference?

Both start soft and firm up as the spring compresses. A triple rate spring adds a third stage, so the change in feel is more gradual. ICON chooses the design for each vehicle, and the part title names it.

Do I need new shocks with these springs?

ICON designs these springs as part of its suspension systems. Check the fitment notes for your part, and match the shocks to the lift height you choose.

Will I need an alignment?

Lifting the front of a vehicle changes its alignment, and ICON calls for an alignment after many of its front spring installs. The Installation section of each part shows what ICON asks for.

What warranty applies?

ICON's published limited warranty applies to its coil springs, for the original buyer and the vehicle they were first installed on. Contact us first for a claim and we will open it with ICON.

What's involvedThe front brake line brackets, sway bar and lower shock mounts are disconnected and the axle lowered to swap the coil springs, with a supplied shim added to the passenger isolatorhardware is re-torqued after 100 miles.

Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values.

  1. Using a properly rated jack, raise the front of the vehicle and support the frame rails with jack stands. Ensure the jack stands are secure and set properly before lowering the jack. NEVER WORK UNDER AN UNSUPPORTED VEHICLE.
  2. Remove the nut from the brake line bracket, then slide the bracket off of the stud on the lower link using a 15mm. Slide the brake line in the bracket to gain some extra slack.
  3. Support the axle with a jack to remove the tension from the lower shock mount and remove the factory shock bolt. RUBICON ONLY* Disconnect the front locker plug from the differential and remove the clip from the upper link arm.
  4. Remove the front coil springs. Make sure the upper and lower coil isolators are still in place with locating prongs in holes on driver’s side. Remove locating pins from passenger side isolator to install supplied shim.
  5. Slide the brake line in the steel bracket to gain extra slack with the suspension fully extended. Connect the brake line bracket to the front lower link using the factory nut and a 15mm. [Torque to factory spec]
  6. Install the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground. [Torque lugs to factory spec]
