Features
- Rate Chosen per Vehicle: ICON picks the spring rate for each vehicle and lift height, using dual rate, triple rate or performance designs depending on the part.
- Lift and Ground Clearance: Taller springs raise the ride height by the amount ICON lists for each part, adding ground clearance and room for larger tires.
- Built for One Position: Each kit is made for the front or rear of its vehicle, as named in the title.
- Progressive Spring Designs: Dual and triple rate springs start soft for small bumps and firm up deeper in the travel, so ride quality holds up as the load changes.
- ICON Warranty, Claims Through Us: ICON's published limited warranty covers these springs for the original buyer, and we open any claim with ICON for you.
- Part of ICON's Systems: These springs come from the same development work as ICON's Stage suspension systems, so they pair with ICON shocks and lift parts.
Description & Fitment
ICON designed this rear dual rate overland coil spring kit around the 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma. Dual rate means two stages: one for comfort around town and one for support when the suspension works hard. The Overland version is meant for trucks that carry extra gear weight. ICON lists it for a 0.5" lift.

About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics designs and builds performance suspension for trucks and SUVs at its shop in Riverside, California. Engineering is led by Dylan Evans, its head engineer and a SCORE champion driver, and ICON tests its parts on the street, on the trail and under race conditions.
ICON's engineers begin with the result they want from a vehicle, then study the forces acting on it in motion, which is where the name Vehicle Dynamics comes from. Fabrication stays in ICON's own shop, from laser cutting and metal forming to CNC machining, welding and final assembly. ICON calls its suspension systems and shock absorbers the top choice for popular trucks and SUVs.
Authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized ICON Vehicle Dynamics dealer, so every ICON part we sell is new and genuine. ICON's warranty is for the original retail buyer, on the vehicle the part was first installed on. Keep your Prestige Truck order receipt: we use it when we take a claim to ICON for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma?
It fits when your vehicle matches one of these rows: 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma (0.5" lift). If you are unsure about your trim or drivetrain, send us your VIN and we will check it against ICON's application list before you order.
Where are the install instructions?
Yes. ICON's install sheet for 51215 is linked in the Installation section below, with its steps condensed on this page. Use the sheet for the torque values.
Dual rate or triple rate: what is the difference?
Both start soft and firm up as the spring compresses. A triple rate spring adds a third stage, so the change in feel is more gradual. ICON chooses the design for each vehicle, and the part title names it.
Do I need new shocks with these springs?
ICON designs these springs as part of its suspension systems. Check the fitment notes for your part, and match the shocks to the lift height you choose.
Will I need an alignment?
Lifting the front of a vehicle changes its alignment, and ICON calls for an alignment after many of its front spring installs. The Installation section of each part shows what ICON asks for.
What warranty applies?
ICON's published limited warranty applies to its coil springs, for the original buyer and the vehicle they were first installed on. Contact us first for a claim and we will open it with ICON.

Here's the short version. Follow ICON's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps and torque values.
- Place a jack under the center of the axle so it can be lowered to assist in spring removal.
- Using a 12mm, remove the brake line, E-brake line, speed sensor and E-locker wiring brackets.
- Remove the lower shock eyelet using a 17mm and pull the shock off the mounting stud.
- Slowly lower the axle down until the springs become loose, being careful not to overextend any brake lines or wiring harness.
- Lift the spring and pull it out from the bottom, rotating it can help to clear the mount on the axle housing spring perch.
