Description & Fitment
This ICON Vehicle Dynamics extreme duty tie rod kit fits the 2011-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD and 3500 HD and GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD. It replaces factory tie rods that can fail on rigs running big tires in the rocks, with an inner tie rod and ball stud machined from 4140 chromoly. ICON rates its buckling strength at 27 times the stock part, with a 130% larger inner rod, a 35mm metal-on-metal inner ball stud and a 32mm greaseable outer joint. The forged steel outer end keeps the stock bend, so it clears factory wheels and most aftermarket wheels.

ICON recommends its XD Forged Tie Rods for vehicles running big tires off-road, where factory tie rods are known to bend. For mild use the stock parts may be enough.
Will they clear my wheels?
ICON keeps the stock bend on the outer tie rod so it fits the factory wheel sizes and offsets, and most aftermarket wheels.
Do the joints need greasing?
Yes, ICON's outer tie rod joints are greaseable, which it says extends service life. Grease them as part of your normal service.

ICON's published limited warranty applies to this part, and we handle any claim with ICON for you.- Coverage belongs to the original retail buyer who owns the vehicle the part was first installed on.
- ICON parts must go on as the complete kit shown in ICON's application guide. Swapping out or leaving off a required part voids the warranty.
- ICON repairs or replaces a defective part, at its discretion. Removal, reinstallation, freight and incidental or consequential costs are not covered, and parts that wear in normal use are not treated as defective.
- Not covered: finish (including finish marks from shipping), alterations or modifications, installation that departs from ICON's instructions, racing use, police, taxi, government or commercial vehicles, and sales outside the United States and Canada.
- To claim, contact us first with your order number and a short description of the problem. We open the claim with ICON for you, and your Prestige Truck receipt is the proof of purchase ICON asks for.
