Fitment & Compatibility

Check your fit: Rigid lists this kit for the Ford Bronco Sport. We haven't confirmed its fitment rows yet, so send us your year, cab and trim to confirm fit before ordering.

Not for: Other vehicles in this range use their own part numbers (20643, 46724, 46726, 46727, 46763, 46764, 46765, 46772, 46773, 46774, and more). Road use: Rigid lists no SAE beam for these lights, so they are for off-road use only.

About Rigid Industries

RIGID
INDUSTRIES.

Rigid Industries started in Gilbert, Arizona in 2006 as a seller of powersports parts. Its engineers decided halogen and HID lamps were holding drivers back and went after a better light, and the company credits that work with its patented Hybrid Optical System and with launching the first LED light bar.

Rigid has since built lighting with OEM partners including Toyota, Ford and Polaris, and it says its lights are made to pass demanding OEM test standards. The range now runs from compact pods and round lights to curved and straight light bars, SAE street-legal lights and vehicle kits. Rigid is part of Clarience Technologies, a group of vehicle lighting, vision and safety brands.

Buying Rigid from Prestige Truck. We are an authorized Rigid dealer, and every Rigid light we sell is new, genuine Rigid product. Rigid's warranty protects the original buyer with proof of purchase and does not extend to lights bought from unauthorized third-party marketplace sellers, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which vehicle does it fit?

Rigid lists it for the Ford Bronco Sport. We haven't confirmed its fitment rows yet, so send us your year, cab and trim and we'll confirm fit before you order.

How hard is the install?

Rigid's sheet includes a drilling step. Rigid recommends a professional installation; the steps are in the Installation tab.

Is everything in one box?

This is one Rigid kit: the light and the mounts made for this vehicle. The summary at the top of this page gives Rigid's box list for this kit, or says so when Rigid no longer publishes one.

Is this kit street legal?

Only if the SAE compliant row in Specifications says so for this kit. Rigid lists any light without an SAE rating for off-road use only, so keep it switched off on public roads.

What does the warranty cover?

Rigid's warranty against manufacturing defects for the original buyer with proof of purchase. The Warranty row in Specifications gives Rigid's term for this kit, and the Warranty section below has the full terms.

How should I clean the lens?

With mild soap and water or mineral spirits. Rigid's polycarbonate lenses can be damaged by ammonia-based cleaners and by road salt left on them, and that damage isn't covered, so avoid glass cleaners and automatic car washes and rinse salt off with fresh water.

Installation

What's involvedLight mounts on clip-in bushings and brackets and wires to the battery through the harness, switch and relay
Tools
  • Drill for the short L-bracket holes
  • 3/4" hole for the switch

Here's the short version. Follow Rigid's install sheet (below) for the exact positions, wiring and hardware.

  1. Cut the power first. Disconnect any power source connected to the vehicle before you touch fuses or wiring.
  2. Assemble the mounts. Fit the mounting hardware to the bar as Figure 1 shows; the mount bushings clip in and hold the bolts in place. With the short L-brackets, Rigid suggests marking the holes using the assembly, drilling them, then mounting the bar with hardware of your choice.
  3. Place the relay and route the harnesses. Mount the relay high and dry near the battery in the engine bay, protect the harness with a grommet or loom where it passes metal, and route the bar, switch and battery leads to their locations.
  4. Mount the switch. Mount it in the cab in a 3/4" hole (drilling and file fitting may be needed) and wire it per Figure 3.
  5. Connect the bar and battery. Join the bar's flying leads to the harness and the harness to the battery, red to positive and black to negative.
  6. Test, aim, tighten. Check the light works, aim it, and tighten the mounting hardware to 75 in-lbs (about 6 ft-lbs).

    • Rigid's 1-year limit on powder coating and lenses also applies.
    • If Rigid confirms a defect, it replaces the item, refunds it or issues store credit, at its discretion. Rigid may ask for photos or video before it approves a claim.
    • Not covered: normal maintenance, service or adjustment; opening the light or breaking its water-tight seal, such as taking off the bezel or its screws (unless the light is built for lens swaps); accidents, alteration, misuse, neglect, abuse, vandalism or physical damage; repairs or changes made by anyone other than Rigid; improper installation, including electrical damage from it, or not following Rigid's instructions; use that goes against Rigid's warnings, labels or documentation; use with equipment or parts Rigid didn't make; fire, flood, lightning and other natural events; harsh road hazards, excessive heat and wear beyond normal; and damage caused by the delivering carrier.
    • Lens care: the polycarbonate lens can be damaged by ammonia-based cleaners and, over time, by road salt, and Rigid does not cover either. Clean it with mild soap and water or mineral spirits, rinse salt off with fresh water, and skip automatic car washes, whose soap may contain ammonia.
