Description & Fitment
This pair of TeraFlex adapters lets a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ or Wrangler Unlimited LJ run 5x5" bolt pattern wheels, such as JK Wrangler wheels, on its stock 5x4.5" hubs. Each adapter also adds 1.25" of offset for more tire clearance when turning. They are made from 6061-T6 aluminum and work with wheels 8" wide or wider with 4" or less backspacing. Each kit is a pair, and TeraFlex says two kits are required per vehicle; it lists about 1.5 hours of labor.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Park on level ground with the parking brake set, raise and support the Jeep at the points in the factory service manual, and remove the wheels and tires.
- Remove and discard any rotor retainer washers on the wheel studs.
- Measure the factory wheel studs: they cannot be longer than 1.25"; grind longer studs down at the tip to just under 1.25" without grinding into the threads.
- Slide the adapter onto the wheel studs and check with a straight edge that the studs do not protrude.
- Apply red thread locking compound to the wheel studs, install the provided lug nuts and torque to 85-95 ft-lbs.
- Reinstall the wheels and tires, lower the Jeep and torque the lug nuts to 95-115 ft-lbs.

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its wheels and wheel adapter spacers for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
