Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex 1.5" Performance Spacer Lift Kit raises a 2015-2023 Jeep Renegade (BU) or 2017-2025 Jeep Compass (MP) 1.5" with spacers instead of new springs, which TeraFlex calls the most economical way to lift a unibody Jeep SUV. The offset front strut spacers are angled to match the factory strut mounting angle so front camber and caster stay correct, and rear strut spacers plus angled rear lower control arm spacers keep rear camber in spec. TeraFlex lists a 225/65R17 (28.5") tire as the largest that fits without trimming.

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Raise and support the Jeep on jack stands (not under suspension parts), remove the wheels and wipers, remove the cowl (Renegade) or prop it up (Compass), and detach the brake line, ABS wire, sway bar link and steering knuckle from the front strut.
- Remove the three upper strut bolts, mount the side-specific front spacer (marked R or L) on top of the strut with blue threadlock and the M10 x 50mm allen bolts, then bolt the strut back in through the spacer with the factory bolts at 45 ft-lbs.
- Clock the top of each strut as you torque it to 45 ft-lbs (driver side counter-clockwise, passenger side clockwise), refit the wiper assembly, cowl and wipers, reattach the knuckle at 74 ft-lbs + 90 deg and fit the new sway bar link at 59 ft-lbs (p7); repeat on the other side.
- At the rear, remove the inner fender liners and charcoal canister, loosen the control arm bolts, support the differential and lower the subframe to fit the 1.5" spacers with the supplied M14 x 150mm bolts at 100 ft-lbs.
- Fit the control arm bracket spacers (bracket bolts 45 ft-lbs), the 1" spacers under the exhaust and brake/ABS line brackets and the rear strut spacers (45 ft-lbs), then hang the charcoal canister on the new brackets and space the driveline carrier bearing with the 0.75" spacer (p10).
- Refit the fender liners and wheels, lower the Jeep and at ride height torque the lower control arm bolts to 74 ft-lbs + 90 deg; get an alignment as soon as possible and re-torque everything after 100 miles.

TeraFlex's warranty list does not name a term for its coil spring and strut spacers, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage. Where a kit includes them, TeraFlex covers its bump stops and its 9550 VSS shocks for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Spacer kits are small parts in one box. Match every spacer, bump stop part and hardware bag to the part list in the TeraFlex instructions before you start, and contact us right away about anything missing. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
