Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Jack up the Jeep by the frame, secure it on jack stands and remove the shocks.
- Pull the rubber bump stops down with a side-to-side motion and remove the bolt inside each bump stop cup (15mm).
- Remove the springs.
- Refit each front bump stop cup with the new 10mm x 55mm bolt (16mm socket) and the spacer between the cup and the pedestal, and install the rear bump stop spacers.
- Remove the factory spring isolators, fit the spring spacers with the isolators against the springs, and reinstall the springs with the black spring spacers above them.
- Reinstall the shocks.

TeraFlex's warranty list does not name a term for its coil spring and strut spacers, so contact us before ordering and we will confirm the coverage. Where a kit includes them, TeraFlex covers its bump stops and its 9550 VSS shocks for life against defects in materials and workmanship.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
