Features

  • Arms, brackets and track bar together: Each system pairs adjustable Alpine long arms and long arm brackets with a front HD forged adjustable track bar and bump stops sized for the lift.
  • CT or RT, 3.5" or 4.5": CT (Cross-Trail) systems use Alpine arms with factory-style bushings; RT (Rogue Trail) systems step up to Alpine IR arms.
  • Tunable geometry: The adjustable arms balance front caster and pinion angles and set rear pinion angle and anti-squat for the lift height.
  • Track bars center the axles: TeraFlex says its forged adjustable track bar and brackets sharpen steering response, center the axles and reduce body roll.
  • Room for bigger tires: TeraFlex's tire charts for these systems run from 33" to 37" on Sport-style fenders, set by lift height and bump stop spacing; each listing gives its range.
  • Shocks sold separately: No shocks come in the box, so you choose the shocks; TeraFlex recommends its Falcon shocks, tuned alongside its lift springs.

Description & Fitment

TeraFlex's 3.5" Alpine RT3 long arm extended-travel system (part 2033100) is built for the 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. RT stands for Rogue Trail, TeraFlex's IR-bushing system. The TeraFlex sheets for this system list Alpine IR long arms, gusseted long arm frame brackets, lift coil springs from TeraFlex's 3.5" spring lift, a front HD forged adjustable track bar, the SpeedBump bump stop kit and driveshaft spacers, a rear forged ST sway bar, rear spring retainers and the extended-travel accessory kit. Those extended-travel pieces give 16" of rear wheel travel, TeraFlex says. TeraFlex lists 33-35" tires on Sport/Overland fenders and 35-37" on Rubicon/Mojave fenders. Versions by engine: 2033100 (3.6L), 2033120 (3.0L Diesel). Shocks are not included, and an alignment is required after install.

About TeraFlex

TERAFLEX.

TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.

The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.

Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this fit my 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT?

Yes, if your Jeep matches the fitment table and you choose the engine variant that matches it. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.

What else do I need?

Shocks, which are not included (TeraFlex recommends its Falcon shocks), and an alignment after install.

Why choose long arms over short arms?

Longer arms change angle less as the axle moves up and down, so the ride is smoother and the suspension can articulate more freely. TeraFlex builds its long arm platform for Jeeps with 3-6" of lift.

Do the arms come with brackets?

Only when the title says Arm & Bracket Kit, or on the complete CT and RT systems. Single arms and arm-only kits must run on a TeraFlex long arm bracket kit, which is sold separately.

Is cutting required?

Yes. TeraFlex's instructions remove the factory control arm brackets with a cutoff wheel or torch, then grind and paint the frame and drill it for the new brackets. Plan it as a major job; an experienced shop is a good idea.

What is the difference between CT and RT systems?

Both are complete Alpine long arm systems. CT (Cross-Trail) systems use Alpine arms with factory-style bushings, and RT (Rogue Trail) systems use Alpine IR arms with TeraFlex's rotating IR bushings. Each comes in 3.5" and 4.5" lift heights, without shocks.

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.

  1. Disconnect the battery, lift and support the Jeep at the frame and remove the front tires.
  2. Front: remove the sway bar links, track bar bolt, calipers, ABS lines, shocks, actuators and vent hose and the front drive shaft, loosen the control arms, remove the springs and arms and lower the axle out of the way.
  3. Rear: remove the tires, sway bar links, calipers, drive shaft, ABS lines, e-brake cables, track bar, shocks and control arms, disconnect the locker and breather hose and lower the axle out of the way.
  4. Remove the exhaust as the sheet sequences for your engine (on diesel: SCR skid plate, PM sensor modules, DEF and temperature sensors, DPF clamp and steady rest), including the center and Y sections.
  5. Cut off the front and rear stock brackets, press the new bushings into the axles, then mark and drill the frame and mount the new rear and front brackets with flag nuts and red thread lock, torquing as printed.
  6. Install the crossmember and long arms at the recommended starting lengths, torque as printed, then reinstall the exhaust, axles and drivelines in reverse order.
