The 3.5" Alpine CT3 Long Arm Extended-Travel Suspension System, No Shocks is part of the TeraFlex Alpine long arm platform, which moves the control arm mounts for longer, flatter arms and a smoother ride over rough ground. Fully adjustable Alpine arms let caster and pinion angle be dialed in for the lift height. Part number 2023100 and 2023120 fits the 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator.
Not Included:
Shocks, wheels, tires and the alignment after installation are not included, and individual arms and arm kits require the Alpine long arm bracket kit unless the title includes brackets.
Features
Longer arms, smoother travel
Long arms change angle less through their travel, which smooths the ride and lets the suspension articulate more freely.
Fully adjustable Alpine arms
Alpine arms adjust in length to set caster, pinion angle and axle position precisely for the lift.
Factory-style or IR bushings
Choose factory-style bushings for quiet, maintenance-free service, or TeraFlex IR bushings that rotate freely to reduce bind.
Streamlined long arm brackets
TeraFlex long arm brackets combine the upper and lower frame mounts in one bracket for strength and a clean look.
Complete CT and RT systems
Alpine CT and RT systems pair the long arms with springs, track bars, bump stops and brackets matched for their height.

Installation
Type: Long arm conversion and lift systems · Install: Major job; cutting, grinding and drilling · Afterward: Alignment required
Read every TeraFlex sheet linked for this part or system and plan the job before starting; long arm brackets require cutting and drilling. Professional installation is strongly recommended, and an alignment is required afterward.
Covers the JL Alpine long arm and bracket installation, a major job. The factory front and rear control arm brackets are cut off the frame with a cutoff wheel or torch, the frame is ground smooth and painted, the new brackets bolt on with red thread locker (drilling 11/16" holes), and the rear body mounts are trimmed using a template. The exhaust, gas tank, crossmembers and driveshafts come out and go back in, and the control arm bolts are torqued at ride height unless the arms have IR bushings.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual, Drill with 11/16" bit, Cut-off wheel, grinder or torch
Torque: 111 ft-lb, 18mm rear bracket to frame bolts; 80 ft-lb, 16mm and 18mm front bracket to frame bolts; 130 ft-lb, 18mm bracket bolts, see sheet; 20 ft-lb, 13mm crossmember hardware; 200 ft-lb, 21mm control arm bolts; 140 ft-lb, 22mm bolts, see sheet; 130 ft-lb, Lug nuts
Covers the Gladiator Alpine long arm and bracket installation, a major job. TeraFlex warns the kit may not fit all aftermarket rock sliders and some slider disassembly or modification may be needed. The factory control arm brackets are cut off with a cutoff wheel or torch, new brackets bolt on (11/16" holes, plus a 5/8" bit on Mojave models), and control arm bolts are torqued at ride height unless the arms have IR bushings.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual, Drill with 11/16" bit, 5/8" drill bit (Mojave only), Cut-off wheel, grinder or torch
Torque: 103 ft-lb + 145°, Front lower control arm bolts; 111 ft-lb + 60°, Rear control arm bolts, see sheet; 130 ft-lb, Lug nuts
Covers the front JL/JT adjustable track bar, best installed with the Jeep on level ground; a helper turning the steering wheel or a ratchet strap lines up the holes. Final torque is set on the ground, and the drag link may need adjusting to center the steering wheel.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual, 12-point 10mm socket, 1-3/8" wrench

Covers the quick-disconnect front sway bar links for the Wrangler and Gladiator, sized for 0"-4" lifts: parking brackets and studs go on, axle-side brackets mount with the stock sway bar bolts, and the new links install.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual, 6mm hex key
Torque: 20 ft-lb, Parking bracket bolts; 50 ft-lb, Parking studs; 75 ft-lb, Axle quick disconnect bracket studs; 59 ft-lb, Axle bracket to axle, stock sway bar bolts; 69 ft-lb, Link nut; 5 ft-lb, Grease zerk
Covers the Gladiator rear upper and lower spring retainers (and optional spring spacers). The brake line brackets come off the frame, the retainers bolt to the spring perches, and the track bar and control arm bolts are torqued with the truck on the ground.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual
Torque: 45 ft-lb, Spring retainer bolts; 89 ft-lb, 21mm shock bolts; 74 ft-lb, 18mm bolts; 100 ft-lb, 21mm rear track bar bolt; 111 ft-lb + 60°, Rear control arm bolts (see sheet for each arm); 130 ft-lb, Lug nuts
Covers the Gladiator rear track bar axle bracket, which clamps to the axle with a tri-lobe spacer. TeraFlex requires at least 2" of rear bump stop spacer; the upper mounting hole is recommended for 3.5" and taller lifts and needs at least 3" of bump stop, while the lower hole suits 1.5"-2.5" lifts. Track bar bolts are torqued with the truck back on the ground.
Torque: 150 ft-lb, M14 bracket and spacer bolts (18mm bolt, 21mm nut); 55 ft-lb, M10 tri-lobe spacer bolts (13mm); 25 ft-lb, M8 socket cap bolts (6mm hex); 74 ft-lb + 30°, Track bar bolt at the frame (21mm bolt, 23mm nut)
Covers adding the aluminum spacers between the rear driveshaft center support bracket and the body on the Gladiator, using the supplied longer M10 bolts while the driveline is supported.
Torque: 45 ft-lb, 16mm center support bracket bolts
Covers the Gladiator extended-travel accessory kit: spacers drop the parking brake cable brackets, a harness extension is plugged in and remounted, and both rear brake lines are replaced with 33" stainless braided lines, followed by bleeding the brakes (a scan tool ABS bleed is suggested if available).
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, General mechanics tools, Torque wrench
Torque: 45 ft-lb, 16mm parking brake bracket bolts; 26 ft-lb, Brake line banjo bolts; 15 ft-lb, Brake line bracket nut; 7 ft-lb, Bleed screws
Covers the Gladiator rear frame-mounted forged ST sway bar. TeraFlex requires at least 2.5" of rear bump stop spacers. The job includes bending the spare tire sensor bracket, drilling and countersinking the lower bump stop pads, rerouting the frame wiring harnesses, drilling two 7/16" holes in each frame rail for the mount brackets, and trimming the fender liners until the arms swing freely.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Drill with 3/8" and 7/16" bits, Countersink, Vise or large pliers, Factory service manual
Torque: 17 ft-lb, M8 flat socket head bolts (5mm hex); 30 ft-lb, M8 axle clamp socket cap bolts (6mm hex); 25 ft-lb, 13mm frame bracket bolts; 45 ft-lb, 16mm frame bracket bolts and 15mm bushing hardware; 100 ft-lb, 18mm M12 arm clamp bolts, oiled and tightened evenly; 66 ft-lb, 18mm sway bar link nuts
Covers the Gladiator 3.5" spring lift spring lift: new springs and bump stop spacers go in front and rear, the brake line brackets on the lower control arms are discarded, and the rear brake line brackets are temporarily unbolted from the frame. The sheet notes that EcoDiesel models use a different jounce tube size and gives a bump stop spacer guide by tire size. Control arm bolts are torqued at ride height unless the arms have Alpine IR bushings.
Torque: 12 ft-lb, Front bump stop hardware; 70 ft-lb, Rear sway bar link nuts (6mm hex stud); 81 ft-lb, Rear shock bolts; 15 ft-lb, Rear bump stop spacer bolts; 52 ft-lb + 155°, Front track bar bolt; 103 ft-lb + 145°, Front lower control arm bolts; 111 ft-lb + 60°, Rear control arm bolts (see sheet for each arm); 130 ft-lb, Lug nuts

About TeraFlex
TeraFlex is a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the lineup.
The company traces its history to the 1950s, when it began as MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), one of the first companies anywhere to supply Jeep parts and accessories. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and the brand credits itself with the first suspension system for that coil-spring platform, a low-range gearing option for the 231 transfer case and the CRD60 high-pinion axle.
The current catalog covers full lift systems, the Falcon shock line and a long list of Wrangler and Gladiator upgrades, and the company is now carrying the same engineering approach to other vehicles as well.
