Features
- Longer arms, smoother travel: Long arms change angle less through their travel, which smooths the ride and lets the axle articulate more freely.
- Fully adjustable length: Set the arms to TeraFlex's lengths to balance caster and pinion angles and tune rear anti-squat on a 3-6" lift.
- Heavy-wall DOM tube: TeraFlex uses 42mm x 4mm wall DOM tube on the front uppers and 50mm x 5mm on the front lowers, rear uppers and rear lowers.
- IR or factory-style bushings: Alpine IR arms carry TeraFlex IR bushings that rotate freely for flex; Alpine arms use maintenance-free factory-style bushings. The title names which you get.
- Re-centers the axles: TeraFlex says the long arms re-center the axles in the wheel wells for proper suspension movement.
- Runs on long arm brackets: Arm-only kits bolt to TeraFlex's long arm brackets, sold separately; Arm & Bracket Kits include them.
Description & Fitment
TeraFlex part 1316010 is a complete Alpine long arm and bracket kit for the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL, 4-door only. All eight long arms, each with quiet, maintenance-free factory-style bushings, come with the long arm brackets they mount to. TeraFlex rates the kit for 3-6" of lift. The factory arm brackets are cut off and the frame is drilled for the new ones. It does not include springs, shocks or track bars; plan on an alignment once it is in.

About TeraFlex
TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.
The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.
Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit my 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler JL?
Yes, if your Jeep matches the fitment table and runs 3-6" of lift. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.
What length do I set the arms to?
TeraFlex's instructions list starting lengths by position and lift height. Set the arms to those, then have the Jeep aligned.
Why choose long arms over short arms?
Longer arms change angle less as the axle moves up and down, so the ride is smoother and the suspension can articulate more freely. TeraFlex builds its long arm platform for Jeeps with 3-6" of lift.
Do the arms come with brackets?
Only when the title says Arm & Bracket Kit, or on the complete CT and RT systems. Single arms and arm-only kits must run on a TeraFlex long arm bracket kit, which is sold separately.
Is cutting required?
Yes. TeraFlex's instructions remove the factory control arm brackets with a cutoff wheel or torch, then grind and paint the frame and drill it for the new brackets. Plan it as a major job; an experienced shop is a good idea.
What is the difference between CT and RT systems?
Both are complete Alpine long arm systems. CT (Cross-Trail) systems use Alpine arms with factory-style bushings, and RT (Rogue Trail) systems use Alpine IR arms with TeraFlex's rotating IR bushings. Each comes in 3.5" and 4.5" lift heights, without shocks.
