The 4.5" Alpine CT4 Long Arm Suspension System, No Shock Absorbers (2-Door) is part of the TeraFlex Alpine long arm platform, which moves the control arm mounts for longer, flatter arms and a smoother ride over rough ground. Fully adjustable Alpine arms let caster and pinion angle be dialed in for the lift height. Part number 1524200 fits the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler.
Not Included:
Shocks, wheels, tires and the alignment after installation are not included, and individual arms and arm kits require the Alpine long arm bracket kit unless the title includes brackets.
Features
Longer arms, smoother travel
Long arms change angle less through their travel, which smooths the ride and lets the suspension articulate more freely.
Fully adjustable Alpine arms
Alpine arms adjust in length to set caster, pinion angle and axle position precisely for the lift.
Factory-style or IR bushings
Choose factory-style bushings for quiet, maintenance-free service, or TeraFlex IR bushings that rotate freely to reduce bind.
Streamlined long arm brackets
TeraFlex long arm brackets combine the upper and lower frame mounts in one bracket for strength and a clean look.
Complete CT and RT systems
Alpine CT and RT systems pair the long arms with springs, track bars, bump stops and brackets matched for their height.

Installation
Type: Long arm conversion and lift systems · Install: Major job; cutting, grinding and drilling · Afterward: Alignment required
Read every TeraFlex sheet linked for this part or system and plan the job before starting; long arm brackets require cutting and drilling. Professional installation is strongly recommended, and an alignment is required afterward.
Covers the JL jounce bumper kit: the factory bump stops come out of the front jounce tubes and rear frame mounts, and TeraFlex extended bump stops twist in, with silicone spray to help if needed. On Rubicon models the locker actuator plug must be disconnected and reconnected.
Tools named in the guide: Basic hand tools, Jack or jack stands, Factory service manual
Torque: 56 ft-lb, Shock bolts; 69 ft-lb, Sway bar link bolts
Covers the front JL/JT adjustable track bar, best installed with the Jeep on level ground; a helper turning the steering wheel or a ratchet strap lines up the holes. Final torque is set on the ground, and the drag link may need adjusting to center the steering wheel.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual, 12-point 10mm socket, 1-3/8" wrench
Torque: 52 ft-lb + 115° (ref. 205 ft-lb), 21mm track bar bolt, first end; 52 ft-lb + 155° (ref. 200 ft-lb), 21mm track bar bolt, axle end; 60 ft-lb, 12-point 10mm clamp screws
A printed template used to mark the rear body mount trim for the Alpine long arm brackets; print it at full scale.
Covers the JL 4.5" spring lift: new front and rear springs and bump stop spacers go in, the brake line brackets on the lower control arms and the rear parking brake cable bracket are discarded, and the parking brake eyelets are held with locking pliers while the rear axle is lowered. TeraFlex states that some form of caster correction is required for the base spring lift, that a 37" tire on a Sport or Sahara may need additional bump stop spacers, and that a rear track bar bracket is recommended to keep the rear driveshaft from contacting the gas tank. Control arm bolts are torqued at ride height unless the arms have Alpine IR bushings.
Tools named in the guide: Metric sockets and open-end wrenches, Torque wrench, General mechanics tools, Factory service manual, Locking pliers (2)
Torque: 12 ft-lb, Front bump stop hardware; 25 ft-lb, Rear bump stop bracket bolts (8mm and 6mm hex); 66 ft-lb, Sway bar link nuts; 45 ft-lb, Rear sway bar link nuts; 103 ft-lb + 145°, Front lower control arm bolts; 37 ft-lb + 135°, Front upper control arm bolts (18mm); 74 ft-lb + 65°, Rear upper control arm bolts (21mm); 130 ft-lb, Lug nuts
Covers the JL Alpine long arm and bracket installation, a major job. The factory front and rear control arm brackets are cut off the frame with a cutoff wheel or torch, the frame is ground smooth and painted, the new brackets bolt on with red thread locker (drilling 11/16" holes), and the rear body mounts are trimmed using a template. The exhaust, gas tank, crossmembers and driveshafts come out and go back in, and the control arm bolts are torqued at ride height unless the arms have IR bushings.

About TeraFlex
TeraFlex is a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the lineup.
The company traces its history to the 1950s, when it began as MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), one of the first companies anywhere to supply Jeep parts and accessories. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and the brand credits itself with the first suspension system for that coil-spring platform, a low-range gearing option for the 231 transfer case and the CRD60 high-pinion axle.
The current catalog covers full lift systems, the Falcon shock line and a long list of Wrangler and Gladiator upgrades, and the company is now carrying the same engineering approach to other vehicles as well.
